0 reason to play survivor now
As someone who solo plays Killer and Survivor a lot, and queues with maybe 1-2 friends from time to time. This game has turned into a "why bother playing survivor?" when killers are frequently tunneling and camping harder than ever before.
So I decided to jump onto a brand new killer, no perks, and see how it was. Huntress with nothing and all I did was throw axes. 3 dead, the last got the hatch as I was throwing axes at them across the map.
Game is pretty unbalanced and fairly buggy, overall just not having a good time.
Maybe its been my own experience with pallets but there are many times I pull a pallet down, stun a killer, and they warp through the pallet to my side all in one action. I thought maybe a lag spike happened, but it was pretty consistent against clown, ring, and doctor. Might be a bug?
Just my experience so far, but I can already see the forums flooded with bias killer mains who complain about a flashlight. =)

If you don't enjoy one role, then it's usually a good idea to just play the other role.

I've been wanting to play more killer but killer queues seem to be 3+ mins minimum no matter the time whilst survivor queues are always under 30 seconds.

Mate 3 minutes ain't gonna kill ya. Just waste time by swapping cosmetics, coming up with new builds with the other presets, hell even read up on the lore to see what ya missed beforehand.

Then play survivor, if you hate que time much, you can always choose to play other role.

Boy, sure is a sudden shift, from survivors complaining about 5 minutes or more queue times.

Not going to lie, playing on Tuesday versus playing on Wednesday was like someone shot me up with heroin and then immediately shoved me in a prison cell the next day.

2 days ago survivors had 5 minute queues. Just give it some time and play the role with the shorter queue.

I don't understand how they can even ######### up incentives to make it somewhat bearable. It's just lovely having multiple games in a row where someone is either camped or relentlessly tunneled. Yeah with the extra time to do gens on top of solo queue never having information at hand 9 times out of 10 no one is going to do the "optimal" strategy to slam gens to punish a camping killer. It is so very tiresome netting 6-11k points a game to work with poorly designed blood web on top of being forced to cough up a 20k tax.

I had the pallet stun where the killer is forced on to the survivor side of the drop, I immediately (no hesitation) vaulted back & the killer insta grabbed me. They had no perks or add-ons to reduce the stun time.

Instant queue times is 1 reason at least

Two days ago the BP incentive was bugged giving survivors double points all day. We now have two days of no unusual incentive to play one role, and it's clear killer queues are slowing down. I haven't had instant survivor queues in the evenings like this since maybe the Pinhead release (no new survivor).
It's rough out there for survivors and I don't blame them for dropping out.

Wasn't there yesterday a Twitter message that now killers get the 100% bonus message instead and that they kill switched it again?

I love all those "just play the other role, duh!" comments. You can't force people to play a role they might not enjoy just for the sake of playing the game. That is the laziest/brain dead answer I constantly read on the forums, doesn't matter which side we are talking about. Just replying things like "just play killer/just play survivor/just find friends to play with" is like replying "just git gud" lol
Maybe they dont enjoy the other role, maybe playing the other role is as bad as not playing at all, so of course they are gonna raise their concerns.

I just did three rounds of solo queue. If there is a hell on earth that's it.

I was getting 100% bonus as survivor but the queue was slow and my killer queue was faster.

This is the first patch in a long time who actually buffs "normal M1-Killers". Unfortunately, the strong killers have a lot from the buffs as well.
Its the job of the Devs to install changes to the Nurses and Blights and Spirits of this world, so that the "normal" killers can catch up.
The main goal for killers should be: Buff und Nerf Killers so that every killer is competetive.

Well at least we have the kill switch. So people can´t benefit from the 100% bonus...
