NOED
Alright so... As everyone knows BHVR seems to like NOED (no idea why) and so it is still a thing. Yeh they change it so now the aura is shown... At an amazing 24 meters :)
Here how to fix it. Either remove it from the game (The only people that use it are people that are just not good at the game. NOED is the old DH, you use it because it fixes your mistakes), or you do this: Aura now goes up to 48 meters after 1 minute AND the moment the last gen pop everyone gets the exposed exposed effect letting them know that NOED is into play. The amount of times people end up dying after a rly well played game because no one knows till someone gets slapped dead makes just no sense.
Please BHRV if you actually want the game to improve, fix this "fix mistakes" perks.
Sincerely, you killer main :)

NOED should go back to how it was before this patch. It was never a problem before, and the entire point of it was to surprise survivors at the end game. Giving them the ability to see it is honestly stupid. Half the challenge was locating NOED during end game so you don't risk losing. It was meant to be risky for survivors and force them to leave. It needs to go back to that.

Its one of many crutch perks killers have.
Watch them cry for you even suggesting its a crutch.
2 -
Why isn't the killer allowed to have a second chance perk, but survivors are?
3 -
All boons should have the same "reveal their aura after a short window of time," just like NOED.
3 -
"it was not a problem"
true in terms of balance, it is a balanced perk
wrong in the community aspect. Ever since this perk existed, which was this game s launch people have complained about it.
Maybe a perk that ruins fun or is just really unfun to play against shouldn't exist?
in a game about fun deleting something unfun yet balanced might be a good idea :) Hope one day there ll be a poll about this so we can have actual statistics about people disliking/liking perks.
also the name is super unfitting still. the name implies that it would be an anti-hatch perk yet it is just a mistake fixer that gives undeserved unconditional wins when it works.

what about - arguments do not defend any point. logical fallacy and such
If a perk is frustrating to play against it is frustrating to play against.
If a survivor perk is really frustrating to play against it should be addressed (Dead Hard)
same with a killer perk

Maybe a perk that ruins fun shouldn't exist ? So good, we can now delete Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Circle of Healing, etc...

They have deleted ds and dh in this patch

People are seriously still complaining about NOED? How often are you even playing against it? Complaining about the new gen slowdown I understand, but NOED is not that strong right now and countering it is easier than ever.
24 meters is more than enough. That's the equivalent of a 110% killer's TR and just a little lower than the range killers see survivors via A Nurse's Calling. The game is not supposed to give you the location of a hex totem that completely removes a perk from the match for free, so move your ass and just look for it with your 24 m radius, if you put even a minimal effort you should be able to find it, unless you're to lazy to even WALK around the map... ?

........................................Are you really saying this...? No way... Lololololololol..... You are trolling. You have got to be. We just lost EVERY SINGLE SECOND CHANCE PERK.
2 -
I was thinking the same and it made me laugh reading it...

And Off the Record, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Decisive Strike, etc. aren't horribly annoying?
0 -
You just gained off the record.
2 -
Beacuse every “second chance” is to stop killer tunneling/and or face camping. 0 excuses lmaoo. Not to mention they are all dead.

dead hard got deleted, i personally have no problem with DS unless it works in endgame, circle of healing can also go.
i dont know what you are getting at, i meant what i said.
stop shoving me into a survivor main box, it s cringe
0 -
yea good argument. really good argument.
because in my post i said "off the record is not annoying so it can stay" i also said "all survivor perks are fun to play against", thank you for reading :)
in a post about NOED i obviously talk about NOED and not every survivor perk that is unfun to play against.
i can state a point without mentioning every single thing my point applies to. Ofc i think some perks are inherently unfun to go against like old DH. I thought old DH should ve never existed in the first place ever since huntress got released...
please stop putting words in peoples' mouthes, it is annoying

How is Off the Record fun to play against as killer?
0 -
How is Off the Record a problem for killers? They’re literally throwing themselves at you if their body blocking AND you have increased swing recovery, survivors have decreased distance fro, getting hit, and you break pallets and gens faster. What is there to complain about just force the body blocker in a bad position take the endurance hit and down them. Now you can tunnel and it’s not even your fault since again, their throwing themselves at. You have to be new to the game

To be honest, I try to play every killer in the game, and for a very long time, I have not touched NOED. If it's there, people will use it, even pros will use it from time to time, but realistically I don't think anyone should care what happens to NOED.
If you are a genuinely good killer, you shouldn't need NOED. There are plenty of other meta or creative builds to use that you can both win and have fun with. If you do want to use it though, that's fine.
If a killer isn't all that good at being killer or just started the game, I don't think they should be judged or bashed for using NOED at all, but at the same time, without NOED, all they have to do is get better at playing killer.
Survivors are obviously concerned with NOED because they're the one's mainly affected, that's perfectly fine. So if NOED was nerfed, reworked, whatever, good for the survivors, killers shouldn't care

Ok I was not expecting this much people using my post to argue but sure.
First of all as I said, I'm a killer main. Never used NOED cuz the perk makes no sense and is a straight up "I ######### up all game, could not do anything pls I need something to make the game easy baby mode". The thing about 2nd chance perks for survivors is... If you don't camp/tunnel you will never have to worry. DH is dead, DS is dead (The only thing stupid was the fact people could save it for end game and make a free escape. Don't know why the stun nerf), BT now u have a 5 sec base kit or 15 sec if u use the perk (That in the end makes nothing cuz again if u don't tunnel no problem).
NOED works like this. Killer have 1 hook. Last gen pop... Well he hits someone and goes insta down. Now you have 2 choices either try to find the hex and risk getting slapped or just escape. If u go for the hex it's a risk and may end up on a 3k/4k when the killer got 1 single hook all game or you just leave still giving 1 kill for the killer that do not deserve.
Instead of pity perks why not just admit that survs won they played well you didn't apply pressure and that's it. Same goes for old DH and thank god was nerf. As I said DH was the "I ######### up pls save me" button and NOED is the "I ######### pls help me giving instadowns even if I did nothing all game"

I would suggest that NOED be revealed as soon as it's active. Almost every other exposure effect in the game immediately warns the survivors that it's in play, so I don't see why NOED is an exception. Even if it's revealed, there's still a good chance that you'll get at least some value out of it before it goes down (if it goes down at all).
