Is there a way to always run as surviviors when pressing foward?

can you switch the run key for walking instead of running, so a survior always runs when pressing W, but holding down the sprint key makes you walk reversing it?

    There is no in-game setting for this behavior currently.

    though at least on PC I guess you can use third party software or even Steam settings to get this - though this could mess up other button inputs outside of chase or when playing killer etc..

    thanks for the info, did try and find info about reversing the run and sprint, and someone else said that it was a feature that was supposed to come at some point, but maybe I was reading posts about another game, defintly tried some stuff and found out it was for a different game :).

    have anybody used a autohotkey scripts or editing steam or something, so just holding W down counts at running in DBD as survivor, and then holding down shift would make you walk, I'm just curious if anyone tried such scripts, and how well did it sorta go?
