Killers conditioned to wait out the Dead Hard, means new Dead Hard ineffective. Just wait

Once the killers get back into the habit of swinging instantly instead of just baiting or waiting out the Dead Hard, the perk will start to get more value again.

Very much true, i decided not to wait out dh anymore because nobody was running it, and eventually i played against survivors that used dh which caught me off guard and they got value out of it. I think new dh is stil very strong all you need is good timing and skill in it, just practice.

Difference is, if it does become more "common" again, killers will inevitably get back into the habit of waiting. And unlike old Dead Hard that you could use for distance, this one is braindead easy to avoid.

I've already stopped waiting. The thing with the new Dead-Hard is that it requires skills to use so the safe bet is to go for the hit.

There is of course the timing, but there are survivors who are still using it like the boosted loopers did with the previous version.

When someone uses it improperly, he goes down immediately after, obviously.

I've versed several survivors yesterday night and the one that didn't had much experience failed, whereas the ones that looked like they knew what they were doing managed to used it properly every time. A .5s window is pretty tight.

Basically if the survivor use it before the pallett you can’t do anything. They should change it you can’t interact after it.
