Not a stealth game?! Are we playing the same game? And until this patch stealth was a big part of the game and has been from the beginning. FFS It was Spirit's only real counterplay. Not to mention what it's done to sabotaging hooks.

IMO they killed the Perk with the reduction to 75%. This is enough to hear a Survivor if you are using a somewhat decent Headset. Which most Killers will use. I think only a very small percentage of Killers are using their Speakers and this probably only applies to console, because they dont bother using a Headset when playing Console games.
The effect of Iron Will being disabled when Exhausted would have been enough. It would be a trade off - either you can be stealthy OR you can run a strong Exhaustion Perk. But not both. While not a fan of this in general (of Perks which cancel other Perks when used by the same side), it would have been a more reasonable Nerf.
If they would have just reduced the Noise Reduction Iron Will would have been killed as well, even when not disabled while exhausted. But with 100% and disabled while exhausted, it would at least have some purpose - with the cost of a trade off.

You don't even need Iron Will to do that, Sprint Bursting after you pop your 5 second DS pre nerf was pretty good dude.

A good headset to hear a CROUCHED Iron Will user? Hell no, won't ever work unless your headphones can output 170 dB at which point you are damaging your hearing.
The DS nerf was far worse, now tunneling is far easier even with the basekit BT. OTR needs to become a 30 second basekit perk with a 12% haste.

Apparently you haven't played this game much because that's totally wrong. There might be 8 perks that are worth a crap anymore.

It shouldn't have happened in the 1st place. Allow people to play the game how they wanna play it or go make a new game where the rules are where you want them to be.

The devs wouldn't know, they don't play their own game, which blows my mind every time I say it! How can you put out a good product without even knowing how it plays yourself?! It's mindboggling lol It's no wonder they're having a hard time balancing the game!

A fair argument. I was just always put out by the idea of a perk that could totally nullify all audio the way Iron Will used to do. I give Bite The Bullet a pass because it only works while you are mid-healing action and you can't move.

maybe its just me but iron will is in no way dead against a Spirit without Stridor. Unless you are physically on top of a survivor in phase (maybe 2m from them max) you will not hear them with the 75% reduction and spirit phasing noise mixed together.

See that's one of the things that I've never gotten about this game since the beginning was having to use multiple perks to get things to work properly. Botany knowledge and Self-care for example. It makes no sense. Iron Will could handle tunnelers on its own in the right hands.

If you think it was ever fair to disable the entire audio portion of a Killer's game, you are high. And pointing out how imbalancing that is, is not "weak killer".
The perk NEVER should have functioned at 100%.

I can hear them just fine with my Headset. And it is not even a very expensive one.
Maybe dont buy 5 Dollar-Junk and you will be able to hear them too.
But I agree that the DS-Nerf was worse.

Yeah the perk is useless now, the exhaustion aspect killed the perk.

An odd thread to necro but Iron Will needed a nerf and I stand by that. That said it didn't need to be double-nerfed, just pick one.
