Pinhead is carried entirely by his overpowered passive that makes SoloQ unbearable.

Without his passive he is a bottom 3 Killer, and a Killer should NOT be carried nor relevant because of something that requires no effort on their behalf.
Huntress has to hit hatchets, Trapper has to plan where he places his traps, Leatherface has to be careful not to hit things with his Chainsaw, Blight has to learn map collisions, etc etc
Pinhead? His power just exists for free, and it is an extremely unfun one at that.

no OP. his chase power is insane as well, even without the box he would not be bottom 3.
sure the box is kinda annoying, especially with the bug that does not allow you to solve it either by it spawning somewhere you cant access or by continously spawning chains even though you try to solve it.
I play cenobite a fair bit and his chase power is VERY good. Sure the box helps but it has a lot of counterplay for survivors such as taking it hostage, solving it when another survivor gets downed, solving it in a place the killer does not want to be (far away from gens, some place with good loops) or just simply ignoring it for a while until you actually need to solve it.
You can also manipulate where the killer teleports to if you solve it.

Yea. Even Thana Legions and Plagues struggle to be as insufferable as Pinhead. Solo survivors can't survive with 90s gens and stacked slowdown along with requiring the survivor to get off gens and run to the other end of the map to get the box does, do the box, and run back to the gen. Haven't even gotten to unhooks, chases, healing, etc. Solo survivors are NPCs in a singleplayer game against Pinhead and the majority of matches they don't even try to skillfully use the power.

His box is not "kind of" annoying in SoloQ, it's easily the best slowdown in the game by FAR when not playing with a team you can communicate with, and makes Pig's traps look like ass by sheer contrast.

He is the new Freddy I feel, where loads of casual people who cba to do much interaction gravitate to. easily my least favourite killer in the game not because of how strong he is, just how annoying his power and his passives are. There are cases when opening the box its impossible. I hate how he is animated, I hate how he functions, I hate how he synergises with slowdown, I hate being in chases with him. He isn't scary, just lame.

Yeah I really dislike Cenobite too. Don't believe he's OP but just today was in three people in a group but one didn't have comms. They were complaining (in text) about how much they hate pinhead because nobody does the box. Guess what happened when the two of us on comms were on hook? NOBODY DID THE BOX. Not the guy who complained or the random. Was the most hilarious irony. As I said he's not OP and I don't even hate it when people play him, but it does teach me to dislike my team :D.
I'm always the guy who does it when it's nearing half way but if I'm on death hook it's simply a bad move for me to do it again.

Often when i play Pinhead against good survs they always do the box in time and i almost never catch them doing so because they position themselves so that i can´t reach them very good.

nope, pinhead is actually a very well designed killer
you want every killer to have a decent chase power and map pressure, one without the other is usually not very good and he has both but neither his chase nor map pressure are overpowered in any way
the only problem i see with pinhead are hoarder pinheads that always go for the box holder and spam chain hunts making the game miserable
but other than that pinhead's passive pressure is in the hands of the survivors only ways he make can make use out of it is if survivors let it or if it's a pretty skilled pinhead that can predict box spawns but even in that case he can't always guess it right.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a strong passive power. It’s not as if he can win by doing literally nothing, he still needs to be able to actually win chases and get downs.
It might be that his Chain Hunt is slightly overpowered against solo survivors, he does I think have the highest kill rate across all games based on the last data chart the devs released, but that’s not the same as saying that in principle a killer who is mostly a basic attack killer but has a strong passive ability is bad design. It just means that his specific ability might need a tweak.

No, once again you're wrong. A killer with a passive main ability still needs to actually get downs to win which takes skill and is fun. Just because YOU don't like playing as a killer with a passive ability doesn't mean you speak for everybody.

his box has plenty of counters and solving it only puts you in a chase with at most. getting chased by a killer with a "power that is weaker than their chase power" shouldnt be a problem, no?

One's opponent shouldn't be getting carried by a passive power in a multiplayer game. He can run slowdown -- on top of 90s gens and his own built-in slowdown -- plus tunnel, so what is getting done when the box has to get solved and someone has to go for the unhook? Not enough time or coordination for solos, it's not fun.

He's absolutely overpowered against solos, it's why he has the highest kill rate. Gen slowdown, 90s gens, built-in slowdown, camping and tunneling are all available to him. Someone getting the box, a survivor is hooked, another goes to unhook, and Pinhead is chasing the last one. You cannot get anything done against him if you're solo.
