Always used one gen perk as GF. Now that prove thyself is meta now I feel I have to run multiple
Gens tend to be flying by now that everyone is running prove thyself to counteract the +10 seconds. My main is Ghost Face just because he's thematically fun, but running a marathon having to manage gens as an m1, now I feel it's mandatory to run at least 2 gen perks. I know on most killers, gen regression is considered overbearing, but with a weak m1 killer, especially one that has to spend extra time with stalking, my apologies if I feel compelled that I must. Have to chase someone as an M1 just leaves gens unprotected. While before, it was a mixed back on chasing anyone away from gen areas, now leaving a gen area with just one gen perk is a gen being lost.
Just ironic that to buff killers, they increase gen time, but because of extra gen time, everyone runs gen speed, so now to have to run mass regression perks to cope with the new gen speed perks. Yikes.
I'd rather not see mass regression perks being a new meta, as it'll end up forcing survivors to have to use gen speed perks to counter, and m1 killers to have to use mass regression perks to counter. Less options on the table for both sides.

Two people on a gen without Prove Thyself prior to the patch took 6 seconds longer than 2 people on a gen now with Prove Thyself.
Are you really insisting that 6-7 seconds off a gen (which **still** benefits you since only gen being worked on) is really so drastic that it necessitates multiple gen perks? That simply doesn't sound right. Maybe try utilizing chase perks to end your chases quicker to poush people off gens sooner.
Prove thyself doesn't make survivors able to do gens faster than the base speed, it simply mitigates the penalty of working together, and doesn't even stack with itself.

Aye, I'm just using Prove Thyself as an example. People are bringing everything to the table in regards to gen speed pushing. Now, at least for m1 killers without an ability to travel quickly, you have to run regression perks just to try to keep the gens from popping.

Thought about trying that, actually. I used to run it awhile back. Time to give it another go.

Equip Discordance and make sure they never get value of Prove Thyself.
