I like the changes

So I see all these posts about people not like the changes and I disagree with them whole heartedly.

I like all the survivor perk changes and all the killer perk changes. DS and DH were consistently used as a way to punish killers. In regards to DS, people would bait killers to chase them and then DS them wasting a bunch of time. You might think well it was used to stop tunneling, which is true. But tunneling only is an issue with low mmr. When you get to higher mmr, tunneling is understood as a thing the killer has to do in order to stabilize in a game. I made a brand new account on play station, I got tunneled numerous times but once you know how to loop and punish killers and become a good chaser they will stop tunneling you. Now with dead hard, people are seeing the major problem with it and they don't even realize. Your in the wrong mmr. For years people relied on a single perk to create multiple escapes that inflated there mmr. You don't have the core knowledge to Excell in a mid-high mmr so you relied on dead hard in order to excel. Survivor isn't unplayable, your just getting moved down to the right mmr.

The base kit changes for killer are good, m1 killers needed the buff. Right now I forsee dbd changing only a couple of things. DS to 4 seconds because nurse and blight, nerfing nurse and blight, and brutal and stbfl are going to need to reduce its %.

Survivor got the short end of the stick in this update but it was significantly unbalanced compared to killer. Dbd ideal ratio is 50% you have a 50% chance of dying or living in a match (a 2k). If killers were doing below a 50% that's a problem. That's why the devs buffed killers. There are some tweaks, and problems but the devs most likely won't be changing basekit for killers. DH needed to be nerfed, and imo dbd is still Survivor sided. In that there are more situations that benefit survivor as compared to killer. I play solo q Survivor all the time and escape every 7/10 games. Stop complaining, and play survivor and learn to adapt its what all good players do.

The main problem with the update is that a lot of people have inflated MMR, like you said. I fear that a lot of people are going to leave now, retain the high MMR, then, when the next update comes out return and find the same challenging games because they didn't lose enough now for their MMR to reset.

“Tunnelling is only an issue in low MMR games”

At what MMR does tunnelling not happen?

Tunneling happens at all mmrs, the difference is in high mmr people don't care about tunneling because normally there is a justified reason for it and they understand that it is in the killers best interest.
