They're based off of getting matched with suboptimal teams, and then having your streak taken away by the 1 good team. That's all it is.

Please .... just leave pros with insane skills out of the discussion about meta. 99.9999999999% of players are and will never be that level of skill. DBD isnt balanced from top down.
And if we were to balance the game from top down survivors would have to be nerfed so hard it would kill the game in a single day.

He also has winstreaks on his YT but he only counts them if he's playing with certain people from I can tell, so he can play x amount of matches on his own, die and it doesn't ruin the streak, this win streak seems to be only if he's with his team which imo ruins the point of a streak if you can take a week break and die and continue the streak.
also, despite his "team" needing to be present for the streak, one is allowed to die as per his rules...

Nurse is busted and probably not great for the game, but Supa alf is probably in top fraction of a percentage of Nurse players. Nurse is his entire thing.
Using his Nurse play as an example of how broken she is isn't exactly representative.

It's always entertaining to see the level of organization these guys have. Honestly impressive...
But yeah, it's high comp plays against pubs. 0.1% against the rest. These types of plays shouldnt be brought to the table for balance discussion.
Even if I'd like the opposite (like how LoL balance things for high Elo play), I think DbD is simply a goofy/party game with its flaws, designed for fun and casual players.

- Everyone knows that Nurse needs a look at the extreme highest levels of play, but Nurse also has pretty damn low kill rates overall - so it's tricky.

So 99,99% of playerbase can't do anything against the broken Nurse, there is no skill in it, after 100 hours playing Nurse anyone can produce 50+ win with Nurse.

Okay, how did you get from 'a god tier player with about 5000 hours on Nurse can do crazy things' to 'Nurse always dominates' to 'anyone with 100 hours can get a 50 game winstreak'?
More importantly, I really want to see the data you're working off. Because, from the data we actually have access to, Nurse has the lowest kill rates in the game.

If you are among the best at your killer, or among the best survivor teams then you win all the time.

Nurse having low kill rates doesn't mean much because she's not good on Switch or old gen. SupaAlf started on console and wouldn't be able to do what he's doing now if he hadn't switched to pc. PC Nurses are absolutely broken.

The changes need to be done with a fine-tooth comb, though, and they're not. The killer buffs, everything is a perfectly round number. 10% here, 10% there, 10 seconds for gens. If a recipe calls for specific ingredients to be scaled precisely to tenths of grams and I round up or down to a whole number, it's a brand new recipe (that's not going to work).
I would have more confidence in the changes if gens were slowed by 6.4 seconds and pallet breaking was sped up to 8.3. They're not, though, it's just arbitrarily 10 for everything. It might be adjusted.

Exactly I don't understand how so many will use Streamers or Tubers as a example to "NeRF Da NuRsE". When those they use play the game as their job and have so many thousands of hours invested to the game we could only hope to have those skills.....Most Nurse players are you low to mid skill range and CAN be looped but I won't go into that can of worms.

The thing is - even sans addons, Nurse is a problem killer, in that her kit basically unplays the game. She's just...impossible to balance, as if she's even slightly weaker, she ends up with a <30% kill rate, but if she's viable for your average player she becomes an unstoppable force of nature at higher MMRs.

Side note about basekit Nurse. We had a discussion several days ago about basekit Nurse vs basekit Blight. I've learned quite a bit about Blight since and I believe that indeed, he is stronger than Nurse in most situations.

An ex-comp player Nurse using ranged addons and the hyper aggressive slug build, has a massive winstreak on the best killer in the game, huh? This really the person you're going to use to justify deleting Nurse? I could look at this scenario and say "This might be avoidable if her blink attacks didn't work with Exposed effects, or her ranged addons were deleted" Though, he's already so good he'd probably do great regardless

So, arguably the best player in the entire WORLD at Nurse hit a 300 win streak, so therefore Nurse is "easy" -- is that what some people are actually claiming here?
Playing guitar at a high level is incredibly "easy" -- just look at Jimi Hendrix!
Playing pro basketball at a high level is "easy" -- just look at Michael Jordan!
Understanding physics at a jigh level is "easy" -- just look at Albert Einstein!
Creating works of great art is "easy" -- just look at Leonardo Da Vinci!
And so on Using the very best person at something to make a point about that something in general is a very poor, lazy, and inaccurate way to make that point.
Congrats to Supaalf on his streak. The amount of hours he's put in to learning Nurse and his dedication to being that good is admirable. If I played another three years and played Nurse full-time, I'd be lucky to get a fraction of that number total, since I -- like the larger number of people who play her -- are nowhere near his skill level. Kudos to the man.

I don’t know how anyone can still defend nurse after seeing games like this one, this is how all games against a nurse go if she’s half decent.
A killer ignoring all game mechanics isn’t balanced and never will be, even if she is the “hardest” killer to master
