What's the most efficient way to spend Iridescent Shards?

Just hit 9k, Should I use them for characters or Shrine of Secrets perks?

    I would say it depends. I personally used my shards to buy all the characters, then went for cosmetics, but this is also considering I play every survivor and killer for fun anyway.

    If there is a killer/survivor perk in the Shrine for a licensed character you want without having to spend 500 auric cells, or you know you cannot be bothered to play someone like Clown for Bamboozle for example, go to the shrine. For instance, Sole Survivor and Hangman's Trick are there if you want them (for some reason).

    If you play survivor more often, I'd say buy a character whose perks or general vibe you like the most. If you play killer, either follow suit or wait to spend them on when the perk shows up in the tome. For example, Blight's perks should be cycling in within the next two months with Undying and Blood Favor. Hope that helps!
