BHVR Beyond Question
So, for those unaware we're getting a stream on August 3rd at 13:30 EST (translate that to your own time) from BHVR where they'll be revealing details of Resident Evil: Project W, among other things.
Would people be interested in a summary? If so, the entire stream or just the DBD bits? If there's no audience for it obviously I don't want to use up an evening for it but if people are interested I'll gladly share it here

This is your protagonist moment- you'll save this internet stranger from the dasterdly clutches of someone being polite about a question they were asked. It's time to show the world that you're a hero- and also display that you're lacking a complete sense of empathy or common decency to boot.
You don't know why I'm not comfortable with the name "Karu" when I don't know the person, and I'd rather not tell you, thanks. But it's just like in person, when someone prefers to go by their full name and doesn't like it being shortened. Take the name David; if someone doesn't want to be called Dave, you don't call them Dave. You be polite and respectful to someone who has yet to interact with you in any other capacity other than the two words "That's great" instead of trying to be condescending and demeaning. You're not the next Regina George, so I'd really stop trying to be one.
If I wanted to be called Karu, I would have made my name Karu. Notice that I did not, and therefore I do not. My name is GoodBoyKaru, GBK for short, and I'd appreciate it if you could remove yourself from the idea that the world revolves around you to note this for just a second.
Though from your comment history, I really don't know what I was expecting. You wouldn't know what manners are if they ran across the street in front of you naked.

Tragically though my name involves the shortened version of the name which makes that one slightly impossible. Naturally if I'd know at the time of choosing that people wouldn't be able to fathom for even a second that a minor inconvenience to them (of needing to use what is actually a shorter a name than Karu) would cause this much strife I would've gone with GBK to begin with. Tragically, Forum rules prohibit this, so you're going to have to get over it. A tragedy, I know.
