Devs I think we deserve statistics of killer rate before this massive killer patch
I can’t understand bhvr. It they were so low, why don't show them so survs can accept this patch? Or if they are over 50% and they want 75% then say it

Let's not pretend you would accept any data they gave you. They could show that demons were getting a 10% kill rate and you'd STILL start threads about how YOUR games are still so awful and unfun.

This is why they don't show it often. Most people in the community don't understand it.
Showing them now when everyone is having growth pains of the changes would be pointless.

They have the statistics, and they do the balancing. What is the point for us to get those numbers? Just to rage on the forums about some numbers and overreact?

Your post history says otherwise. Anytime the Killers get anything at all you act like it is the end of the world for Survivors. You've shown zero impartiality whatsoever. You legit think this is a "killer sided game" despite BHVR coming out and flat out saying the kill rates are too low.
You would not be placated by a data release, when their own announcement was not enough.

It IS surprising how little stats we get from BHVR. Most statistics I find are from people doing experiments in their own mmr. The last official stat I found was from 3 years ago.

BHVR always released stats, I don't see why they wouldn't show them this time, specially when they even showed us other stats like most used perks etc.
I don't see why some people get so up in arms when others ask to see stats showing the kill rates dropped. Because from January to now, not really much was added to decrease kill rates.
I think it's only fair to show what the kill rates were and state how much % they were aiming for.

I've only ever seen them post kill rates TWICE. It's not like it is something that they do often.
And they have told us what they want. They want a 50/50 kill rate.

Tbh numbers are always welcome but I doubt they gonna release it, probably they felt every statistics have been bashed or used incorrectly by the community in the past.

That implies BHVR owes us anything. These are not a President's tax returns. They don't have to prove anything. It could be 10%, 50%, 90%, it doesn't matter.

except for the fact that other survivors have an impact on the kill rate as well, every single thing the survivor does or does not do can mean the end of one or more of the survivors. A survivor could also kill themselves on hook, conflating kill rates entirely. (as they are doing right now)
having a 50% kill rate completely ignores the fact that survivors have an impact on the trial. All kill rates (On non-high skill floor killers) need to exceed 50% because if everything was balanced around 50%, the moment you get 4 good survivors, they completely wreck face on the weaker killers.
This is exactly what happened against most killers before the update. You could completely ignore killer powers with Dead Hard, 2-3 gens popping around the first singular hook was commonplace, m1 killers were completely trivialized by a myriad of mechanics working against them, all you had was Nurse, Blight, Spirit, and any killer that could reliably camp survivors.
Now that's not to say that nothing needs to change on killer, I do believe that killers should be incentivized to leave the hook and hook others, while also being punished or made less effective if camping. I also believe that there should be a mechanic that makes it more difficult to catch the same survivor you've hooked them 1/2 times in succession.

I dont want to escape, I want to have fun. I always let the killer kill me if he played fair and he didn’t get a kill my surv name is “play fair and don’t 0k”, and that’s what I do. So yes, I have no problem if I don’t escape. But I don’t want to be hooked 2 minutes with a killer in front of me, and if there’s a reason for this I want to know it.

Frankly, a lot of killers went through that kind if wringer in the past. But lets not devolve this into a mud throwing contest. "Punishing" the other side for perceibed slights to your favoritie faction never solved any problems.

I just wish we had personal stats for each of our characters. Every little detail of their journey.
I would love to know how many Dwights my Michael has killed for example.
Or how many times my Dwight has escaped from a Michael.

Statistics are just numbers, they won't tell how the matches were done. For example I can be an absolute beast in chases but doing a 0/4 because I refuse to camp and tunnel or I can suck during the entire trial but end the match with a 4/4 because survivors were fools and tried to save a survivor that was caught once last gen popped... Balancing around kills/escapes is just a Flawed solution...

Killer rate was below their expectation. This is what they said, and i only want to know what was this kill rate and their expectation. I don’t want to know actual kill rate, I’m sure they’re shame of it and they wouldn’t tell us

What I don't understand is that when they introduced the SBMM, they said their goals were to make things fair- aiming for 50% kill/escape rate. And your mmr rises or falls according to that.
But now they're saying "We want higher Kill rates!". And let's face it, the majority of that higher kill rate percentage will be on Solo Q players.
So what are they going for here? It's a bit of a contradiction.

I’m inclined to disagree with this view of the game though.
it’s an asymmetric survival horror if it’s true to source material then you’d be looking at a 3k being the expected outcome, with a 1 escape “last girl” scenario. As typical of the slasher films DBD emulates.

I would give a customer the same reaction if they came to me demanding to know how much money the stockboy makes per hour, which is basically what this poster is demanding. It is not relevant to the product you purchased. Your garden hose purchase is unaffected by the answer to that question.

So, you want players to lose against other players in a PvP game in matches that are unfair and unfun to them, so it would better simulate "a typical slasher" movie, instead making fun and game experience the main balancing factor?

You don't think the baseline kick regression, improved action speed, shortened on-hit cooldown and shortened on-hit sprint burst were relevant?
Are we going to have to remind people every day for another week to get another of the plethora of killer buffs added to forum killer memories? First it was only Dead Hard, now it's Dead Hard and 10 seconds on gens, maybe if we keep pointing out how wrong that reductionist stuff is for another week or two, we'll bump it up to Dead Hard, 10 seconds, and the kick regression.
Maybe this time next year, forum killers will finally be honest and mention ALL the buffs.
