When I play survivor I only play Soloq and I don't have a problem with my matches. (except when my teammates have a collected IQ that can be compared to a fruit)

He's not wrong though. Though I suppose Survivors doing Low Effort like suiciding on first hook and rage quitting to protest is "alright".

He is wrong. Solo Q is not a matter of "skill issue". It has a lot to do with MMR.

dang i guess i need to loop killers for 5 gens every single time instead of looping them until they give up... because its my skill issue even tho im better then the players i get matched with? good logic

The patch is not a problem for me; however, the "update" is. I have ran killers for what should have been 3-4 gens, but it just was not, because ain't nobody doing gens. People are killing themselves on hook after their first down. People are afk, or running around and using every pallet when the killer is not around them. I have had literally one game where someone was not throwing or disconnecting. One.
I am not good at survivor relative to killer. I still consider myself a baby survivor. There is definite room for improvement. But the update is very unenjoyable to play.

There's also a psychology at play here.
That said, the patch did expose some areas of the game that need some attention badly.
Eh.
Solo is about the luck of the draw.
Sometimes you'll get three players that communicate telepathically and carry your butt.
Sometimes you'll get three potatoes.
MMR can help, as can communication tools - but the easiest solution is to...just find a group to play with, as intended.

I never said 'only'.
Think of it this way. SWF versus killer and solo versus killer can't really be balanced, SWF will always have the advantage. If you buff solos, you make SWF unbeatable.
The game thus needs to be, primarily, balanced around the SWF versus killer matchup, making it the optimal way to play the game. This is how the devs want you to play, as this is where they are making their balance changes.
You are free to play sub-optimally, and thanks to MMR, you should be able to win a fair amount. But you're also going to have games where your teammates let you down or create an unwinnable game and you get frustrated.

Prestige all mine are prestiged i only have cosmetics for my main killers and survivors, but yeah that sort of shite is fairly obnoxious face camping at 5 gens i dont even do that unless the survivors a dick to me completely i will take the loss just to give it back in return otherwise hook and go i am more of a hit and run killer :)

What I'm trying to say is that a lot of things arent a matter of skill.
I'm pretty sure we didnt need a knockout buff either. And yea, she let us bleed out for 4 minutes. It wasn't very fun or challenging.

That's true.
There's certainly more Killers facecamping and hard tunneling at 5 gens simply because they can get away with it now.
90 second gens, plus slowdown plus inefficient teammates means they're guaranteed a 2K.

Woah! He got 1 hook with 1 gen left. Survivor is really unplayable!!! And I'm guessing facecamping bubba is a new feature as well, I'm sure that never happened before, but ONLY on this patch... You're not supposed to 4 out every game, your point only shows entitlement.
You went down at 5 gens vs a mid tier killer... Doesn't mean the game is over either, if your team doesn't save you just move on.
