What do you think about Killer Instinct and should anything be done to it?
So Killer Instinct isn't counterable, it isnt an aura reading mechanic so Distortion and Off the Record can't counter it. IMO, it's what makes Legion really strong because you almost can't hide from Legion once he gets started.
Now the thing is, maybe it's just fine, maybe it shouldn't be counterable. What good is Legion if he can't detect you because Distortion is popping? What about Nemesis and his vaccine? Maybe they could add a perk that makes it so Killer Instinct doesn't pop on you?

Since when is Legion a "really strong"? They're just an M1 Killer with an ok 1v4 and little-to-no 1v1

My favorite thing is when survivors don't know that Killer Instinct detects them even in lockers...
More to the point: I don't think there should be a perk that removes Legion's power. Legion can already be countered (often) by running away early enough when he's coming toward you.

I have no problem with killer instinct. I think it's completely fine, and definitely not the problem that Legion currently has.

I think it is fine.
However, I hope they dont put it on every Killer now. Since Legion was released, a lot of Killers got Killer Instinct and sometimes it is not really necessary (e.g. Artist or Nemesis).

It's a horrible and boring game mechanic for survivors, it's like a wallhack, not counterable by stealth no matter what you do. You just literally have a red sign above you "he is here" wherever you go. I think lockers and Distortion should counter it.

I don't think Killer Instinct should pop for an Artist sending birds through a locker containing a survivor but other than that it's perfectly fine.

It's a ghetto aura read that does not provide facing and can be faked if you know it's coming and how long it lasts(significantly harder than im making it sound)

I think it would have been cool as a buff to Calm Spirit if they made it block killer instinct rather than gave it the silent cleansing/opening +more time ""buff"".

Killer instinct only exists on killer powers with the exception of Spirit having an addon that gives her power killer instinct. Personally I don't think Spirit should have that addon, but that's a different issue. Killer instinct is fine being uncounterable, because it's tied directly to a power.
Aura reading is not tied to any killer power and is granted by addons or perks. So it's fine if there are perks that counter auras.

Killer instinct is really fine in my opinion ! Especially considering on some killers you can actively avoid triggering it (PH for example)
