I am very excited, this will be the first chapter I buy in its entirety. I always skip survivors and even did in the OG Resident Evil (because they used zoomer sjw bait Jill Valentine).

Over the Hill Valentine is not the SJW, she was bait for SJWs. If you thought that maybe she looked a little off, they would swarm you like #sharkweek and tell you about how problematic you were and that you were hating on the actress they used for reference) which looks nothing like Over the Hill Valentine, by the way, the motion capture model is very attractive, not her fault Capcom cannot animate).
Even the weird Samus cosplay Jill would have been better and I hate that version too. I miss when Jill was Jill, before her facial reconstructive surgery and Eminem phase...

Considering how disastrous the Nemesis chapter was, not at all. Boring yet-another-hold-w-anti-loop-killer, the worst map ever released in this game by far under every possible aspect, optimization that went from bad to terrible, who has more?

I am partially excited, but would be much more if the game's balance wasn't as messy as it is right now.

I've always really liked nemesis. Definitely some strong anti-loop, but it definitely has decent counterplay, so hes also fun to go against in my opinion.
Killers without any anti-loop just don't seem to work, they are always too weak. So I hope the new killer will have some good anti-loop, but one that allows for good counterplay on the survivor side as well.

What counterplay? You vault, he insta readies his tentacle and hits you. You drop the pallet, he insta readies his tentacle and hits you, or at worst, breaks the pallet. You try to dodge, or fake, or use corners and walls, and he does the drag exploit so it hits you anyway - or just cancels in 0.5 seconds and hits you. A nemesis who has a brain has about as much counterplay as pyramid head and trickster. It's lucky that most of them don't, then.

He won't feel as strong as the actual Wesker from RE, same thing as Nemesis. For that purpose alone it would be better to do an BOW like a Licker, they aren't super OP like Wesker or Nemesis so there's no pressure to make comparisons of power level and it makes for a new Monster killer instead of just another humanoid with powers.
Actually, If Entity is powering killers up how will she power up Wesker? What will the boost to Wesker be? It won't even make sense Lore wise...It's the worst part about LIcensed killers, their powers make no sense cause BHVR can't just create something that doesn't fit the pre-established character.

Jill Valentine is "zoomer sjw bait"? I'm not especially well-educated on the subject, but wasn't Jill a character from the 90s before zoomers were even alive?
As for the DLC goes, I'll buy it, but I'm not especially excited for it. Wesker just doesn't strike me as a scary character. I get that Resident Evil makes them lots of money, but can't the new killers be... y'know, horrific? Dredge and Sadako were good choices, yes.
I also notice that we're focusing disproportionately on Japanese media lately. Almost every killer is from an anime, a Japanese video game, or inspired by Japan or at least anime-inspired. There's not anything wrong with that, but there are more horror icons than anime characters and Stranger Things.
I get that anime is a worldwide pop culture phenomena right now, and so is Stranger Things, and it makes sense that they'd want to include these because it'll attract lots of new players and make lots of money, but dammit, where's Pennywise? Where's Chucky? Where's Dracula? It just doesn't feel like the horror hall of fame it's supposed to be yet.
At least give us Tomie. That'll add a genuine horror icon to the list and make an effton of money. If Identity V can get an official skin, I'm sure DBD can negotiate the rights somehow.

Well, wish before the chapter the broken things could be fixed.
Anyway, it ll take 2-3 days and then after new chapter as survivors you gonna play just against nurses and blights and not against new killer.

It's probably going to be that. I severely doubt they are going to give him the hyperspeed thing. It would be cool if he could at the very least vault pallets.
I don't think they are going for his human form though.

I actually am kinda curious since the first RE chapter was in some ways special for me (even though it brought these performance issues on consoles and other game breaking bugs… not strictly speaking in-game here)
although from what is speculated - well.. would have preferred other options though I do understand those choices.

Eh, I don't know. Maybe a little? I love Ada, Wesker is ok but not my favorite, and I don't know about Rebecca since I haven't played any RE game with her in it. Also, I'm a little skeptical about the RPD rework considering map balance hasn't been the greatest.
