When is matchmaking for killer's going to be working again
Still waiting on them to say when it's fixed because it still isn't.

Matchmaking is for survivors. Killers get put into whatever game needs one.
Just assume you'll never actually be put against people of your skill level. It's always survivors who are way too good or way too bad. There is no middle ground, and the match-making is definitely not built to put you up against them.

When queues are evened out after they fix matchmaking incentives so maybe next patch

Maybe when solo queue isn’t absolutely abysmal. A lot of us aren’t playing these miserable matches currently.

I'm a high mmr blight main going against high mmr swfs/solo's every game. With some exceptions, they are the best survivors I have ever gone against and I couldn't ask for anything else. I think High mmr is doing great right now while low and maybe mid mmr suffers.

MMR just don't work

It works for every other game. Just in dbd for some reason they put low skilled people with high skilled people. Not sure why they can't just match up people with similar mmr.

Has it ever worked?

Wait is killer-based mmr not enabled? Is my mmr the same for all killers? no wonder I was getting sweaty swfs on demo who I'm not good at, it's cause I just came off a bunch of pinhead 4ks.

Yes, your MMR is not per character killer. I combines all your previous matches no matter which killer you play.

I'd heard it speculated that whatever your rating for your highest-MMR killer is, it "leaks" some to all other killers. So they are at some lower baseline, but the rising tide lifts all boats, so to speak. I think the initial idea was that all killers were gonna have a separate rating (which is why they took away the ability to switch killers after queuing), but who knows. The stupid fact that we can't see our MMR leads to all kinds of guesswork.

I've been getting nothing but sweaty genrushing survivors all day, there's absolutely no way my MMR has suddenly skyrocketted.
So much for this patch making killers stronger, the added gen time has done absolutely nothing.
As someone who doesn't use a ton of slowdown/regression perks, I'm now finding that I'm being forced to.
This "arms race" is bullshit, forcing each side to take the most toxic builds possible because nothing else works.

Give me my old BBQ and Chili back and I'll be more than happy to watch 3 or 4 survivors teabag me as I watch them walk out the exit gates :P

Queue incentives in the next patch will help, but I suspect people will still be hesitant to play survivor until some substantial solo queue buffs show up.

this is so funny cause i swear in the last year they've said they're doing killer-based mmr like three separate times so I just assumed it would've stuck at some point

Nah, survivor queue skyrocket when there was a 100% bonus bloodpoints. Even when survivors had a longer queue than killers have right now.

That's the neat part, it won't!

I can't get a game period since I'm guessing my MMR decayed or something, I'd rather not wait like 5-10 mintues each time I just want to play for BP stuff.

I do wonder why the incentives are taking so much longer to bug fix. They thought it was working when they released it so you would think it just had some small issue. Clearly it doesn't but I'm quite curious is all from a programming perspective.
