My gaming experience with MMR (and a theory)

I play this game with someone else when playing survivor and we noticed something, and maybe you have too. I've read something similair from Aven_Fallen in another thread and that is exactly my experience.

We play a lot together so the days are not from day 1. We play casual, we don't care if we die as long it is a fun game for us and of course, also for the killer.

I use the word sweaty, because that's how it feels for me during the gaming session.

Day 1 we get the most sweaty (people who play like their lives depends on it) killers. Nurse, Blight, Nemesis, Legion and some other killers. But most of the killers run 2-3-4 slowdown perks, have the best add-ons and play really dirty (with sometimes camp and tunnel, which is okay because it is a strategy).

Day 2 we are like: Let's see how our games are today, we don't expect anything and like yesterday, we probably get another day of sweaty killers. But then we get "normal" killers. People who don't camp/tunnel, don't run any strong add ons but some slowdown perks (but not 3-4). Chases are fun, games are fun and the killers play way more relax. We escape some more than we die, but we also get killed quite some games.

Day 3 it's back to like day 1. We get again the most trying killers and games are not fun for us. We die most of our matches. Day 4 we sometimes get another day like day 1 but sometimes we get like day 2.

Day 5 is more like day 2 and so the cycle repeats itself.

The game is just such a difference like night and day when playing.

So my theory is, that when normally the shrine resets at a certain time, each day at that time the MMR gets readjusted. Because no matter how long we play during day 1, it's 90% the sweaty killers. But the other day when we prepare for another trash day in the game, the game is just fun again (day 2).

Anyone else having this experience and do you think my theory can be correct? Or why not? I would like to know your experience with this topic.

Hmm, thats an interesting thought. I thought mmr would be readjusted after each game, but with behaviour, you might be right, and they just collect data and adjust on a specific time. Never thought of that before.
