Anyone else miss some of the older and more fun things?
Like when fog offerings actually felt like they did something or the moon bouquets. Old tinkerer that affected killer powers charge time.
I mean I understand why some of these things were changed, but now the devs are too scared to do anything fun.

I am still somewhat mad about the fact that they just removed flickbilly and never turned back. It for once required a ton of skill to pull of.
In Billy's current state I see no reason why they shouldn't bring it back.

So first, i do think they make fun stuff, being the killers powers, but i thinl i know what you mean. The problem is not that the devs are too scared to do these things, it's more like there are certain individuals in this community that would not stop crying until we either rip of our ears or the devs revert their fun implementation.

I was watching a video of someone playing on Hawkins Lab, and while I remember hating it, I miss it. Variety is the spice of life and I had some good chases on there. It needs to come back with a few well placed bushes.
I miss seeing shirtless Davids. They seem to be a rare species these days.

I miss when the game was overall a lot more wild and crazy. The harder they try to balance the game, the more dull it gets.

I had a shirtless David today, he was wearing the st Patrick's hat and jeans.
I was playing blight so I switched to the matching set, of course

If you want the OG fog experience, use it on Eyrie. That map gets a proper fog machine going where the others are all reduced to 'someone opened the fridge' levels of fog. Of course, it's still broad daylight out, but hey... it's something, right?
I haven't been around for as long as a lot of you, but I miss Hawkins. Never hated the map and it was one of my favorite stealth killer havens.

Old Movement, old lighting, old physics. Makes you wonder why the devs can't implement an option that allows you to switch between the old and new.

Sad to say but I think people don't run it anymore because it looks more toned down after the model reworks

unpopular opinion I definitely miss when the game was full of overpowered ######### sure it made me rage and yell explicits at my TV but the chaoticness of matches I miss

The expression of the original doc model is hard to describe,
It's like a mix of a demented/deformed smile, gritted teeth out of pure anger and pain. Much more horrorifying imo

i miss the old og maps :(
the realm beyond killed their map aethetics... obviously the graphics werent the best, but it looked so much better when everything looked grainy and uncanny. also old autohaven/macmil/coldwind tints :( it just looked to much better
only realm i wouldnt have minded getting a rework was Swamp. and for some reason its the only realm that hasnt gotten one yet 😭

I agree so much with this. Old Doctor had an unnervingly gleeful look about him - something between a forced grimace and a genuine grin, and that was freaky. Current version just looks angry, and angry is generic.
Luckily a few of the heads in the store still have his old mien about him.

I said this on another thread but whenever I hear the Doctor's breathing/his laughter I instantly think of his original model and not the new one. The new one I can't imagine laughing like he does.

I wish they’d have a classic Dbd mode just so I could experience it. I started with stranger things and not too many things were over powered.

You just took 3 regular basic attacks and you had endurance it was overpowered against like half of the roster at the time because m1 killers couldn't avoid it and people would save it by using insta heals

I sometimes think about them, and while I will agree they were very atmospheric, they were dreadful to play with
The old fog you couldnt see anything further than 3ft away
The old moonlight offerings made you literally blind on certain maps
Old Tinkerer powering up charge times made things like insta saw Billy and machine gun Huntress possible, some killers had literally 0 use for the perk (Freddy for example)
The moonlight and old fog could make a return if they made they made it less of a pain for killers, maybe make everything a bit brighter for killers and make them see through fog

I'm going to sound crazy, but:
One of the biggest things I miss is the oddly satisfying, consistent BOUNCE you'd get as survivor on Coldwind when falling from the Harvester onto the haybale nearby. Now it's very inconsistent since you have to run at it at an awkward, difficult to repeat angle and plus you stagger a bit, unlike before. So it's basically useless in chase! :(
