Any one else getting cheaters and just not reporting because the process of reporting sucks?

Pretty much every game at this point they think they are hiding it well but it's just blatant half the time, we need cross play console only and pc players can be left on their own, until behaviour actually do something.

That's me. I tried once. I tried twice. Huge waste of my time. Never again.

I don't report anything. Without video evidence it does nothing.

It's a waste of time, because if they are banned, they'll just create another account and that will go on and on

I hope bhvr takes action if same account gets many reports. I just use endgame report. Not hard to press cheat button.

Without creating a ticket online and submitting video evidence, hitting that button means nothing.

Yeah, pretty much. If I get matched with a cheater I don't bother reporting them because the reporting process is so tedious. And then most of the time nothing is done about it, so yeah.

There's no point in going through the process as the cheaters have access to hundreds of accounts thanks to it being free on epic for a while

I'm always video recording my games because of shadowplay in background. However, I decided not to upload nor report cheaters anymore. It is not my duty to waste so much time in the process just because BHVR fails to provide us with a decent reporting tool, capable also of tracking what was actually going on in the match. If they don't want to put the effort into developing such tool, why would I waste my time for them?

I've tried recording a bit of a match, and silly two minutes have had ~950 MB of space. Like, sorry, but I'm not gonna waste my time here. What's more, video proof is the requirement to report cheatin', so.. I guess, this is a dead end for me.

I'll sometimes take the effort to report a cheater on steam, since at least I can see on their steam profile if they were banned and so I know I didn't waste my time.

But I've never given additional evidence when reporting epic game cheaters because of the lack of feedback of the outcome. And because without something solid like their ID and only their in-game name, I can't help but feel my report is useless.

Me. I don't even bother reporting in game either because it's useless by itself.

Yes! And the fun part devs and mods here dont seem to understand the issue!

I told them that my system is not powerful enough so I can play in good fps and at the same time record my game in the background.

So at the end all cheater I report ingame will not get banned, atleast not because of my report, because I dont send in effidence!

I hate overwatch (the blizzard game), but one of a few things overwatch did great is tell you that your report mattered! It felt soo good to know that your vote mattered. And I was very good in overwatch so I didnt not falsly report people who I mistake their skill for cheats, I reported only real cheaters and it felt great!

I would love the CSGOs Overwatch mechanic, so the game records itself in a "blue print" of a few kb size that can be replayed and shared with everyone!

Some russian cheater (buying cheats doesn't mean you're a hacker, just a pleb) held me hostage and I reported him IG and he's still not banned. He has 2 accounts, main and 2nd and both have VAC bans, so it's a pattern.

i record but just for Youtube content, reporting is not worth the time.

I reported some things where i actually had video, and told them to contact me, because i dont know (or care) about out-of-game reporting.

But usually, i dont have videos, so reporting does nothing anyway. I do it still ingame in the hopes someone gets the clue, but nah.

    100% me.

I don't have a recording software running in the background of every game I play just-in-case, so reporting them is just a waste of time anyway.

BHVR needs to seriously improve on their report system.

My impression is that they don't have nowhere near enough people to check the tickets that are being opened.

I mean, we know cheaters are getting banned after a while so that means that they are checking them and acting accordingly, but this is how my YT page looks like (all the video links have been shared with BHVR in a support ticket)

Look at the last 3 videos.

They're all 3 recordings of players who where clearly cheating. Look at the dates, and then look at the views number. (The video about Dwight was shared with the killer, so probably at least one or two of the views is theirs).

The only explanation I have is that BHVR should hire more people that are able to sift through the reports that are being made, because I don't know in which world is common practice that a ticket opened 43 DAYS AGO has not been checked yet.

I don’t record my games so even if I hypothetically spotted a blatant cheater I wouldn’t have the video evidence required for the ticket.

And yes, this is a serious issue, not having the game automatically generate the file customer service actually needs for review and relying solely on the players to have the technical knowledge and forethought to record their own games on the off-chance someone cheats and then figure out the process of submitting that recording on their customer service site definitely hampers Behaviour’s ability to get actionable tickets. Unfortunately the devs have said that it isn’t currently feasible for them to introduce an automated replay system for tickets so they’re stuck with the system they’ve got.
