Another Tome Challenge about luck?
Feels like I have to play whole Hex build including NOED or Pentimento to even have a chance to get this done. Uffff. Not feeling like doing it. Probably skiping this one (at least for now). I don't like these challenges. Feels like about luck and not really something you can do much about.

Just bring Devour and Pentimento
They can't ignore Devour and then if it gets cleansed, play the match out until you've either won or the survivors have basically won then just go to the totem, rekindle it and sit on it until the survivors leave
Or hook the final surv if you slugged etc

It just says finish. Babysit a totem and take the loss. GG.

or play trapper and bring thrill of the hunt with decrease speed of trap disarm addons/the addon to injure them when they disarm and trap the F outta a totem lol

there's always bringing noed and undying and sitting on noed once endgame starts

Some people don’t like throwing a game for a tome challenge as well, some people like having fun doing challenges, OP doesn’t seem to be entitled to anything either they just wanna have fun, now like I always say with posts like this STOP WITH THE BLOODY US VS THEM

Yes, I think challenges shouldn't be too much about luck or trowing a game to complete it. Now this challenge is duable with some very specific build, you don't have to trow match for it but I don't feel like tryharding for such builds.

Just bring Nurse with Retribution, Haunted Ground, Undying and Ruin. You should win the Match with at least one Hex-Totem remaining. (When I did it, I had three remaining, the two Haunted Grounds and Retribution, but I also brought Midwich, so I was not really nice).
Or, bring Pentimento, open the exit, create a Hex-Totem and bodyblock it until the timer ran out. Or just do that with NOED.
So I would not really say that the Challenge involves Luck, if you bring NOED AND Pentimento, you will have a Hex-Totem available guaranteed.

Play as Wraith and equip Undying along with 3 other hexes and not Haunted Grounds. Find a totem that's body blockable, block it and go AFK. It's a really easy challenge.

Pentimento works fine.Just lit at endgame

I got this thing by using Plaything and sitting in front of the final Hex after killing 3 out of 4 survivors, most tense match I’ve played in a long time

You literally don't have to do anything for this challenge, you just put on Undying and run straight to it and camp it, with the addition of Pentimento and/or NOED if you want for insurance. It's not "sacrifice all survivors while Undying is still active", it's "finish a trial with any hex totem active while using Undying in your perk loadout, win or lose".

That's a tough one. You can cheese it by camping your totem until the end of game, but that might be boring.
For a legit game, I can only advise to play on Swamp (particularly Grim Pantry). This realm generally has the best totem spots in my experience. I can only think of one that is very visible, but that would be the Undying hex. The others are hidden or in corners of the map or under buildings, where most survivors tend not to dwell.

The challenge certainly requires some planning, but it's not wholly dependent on luck with the right perk choices. Yes, you need to essentially dedicate half your build to hexes, but it's unlikely to be for more than one game. Undying and Pentimento should do the trick to ensure you have a lit totem endgame.

Wdym, that challenge is pretty easy. Just bring Plaything, Undying, Pentimento and idk, ruin?
