Spending BP takes too long
Should there be a button to autofill the bloodweb or something similar to cut the time on spending on BP. It is currently imo the most boring part of DBD currently.

Its by design, as it puts more "engagement" in the act of actually spending the BP. They wont get rid of it for the same reason they wont let us just buy items/addons with BP instead of having to rely on chance, its all part of the retention methods.

I would be happy if I could take nodes just by clicking on them and not holdin M1 for half second each time.

We should be able to auto-buy all nodes on webs 1 to 9 and 11, since we have to buy those entire webs anyway.
We should be able to select farther out nodes and have it auto-path to collect it.
This would make bloodwebs much less torturous.

I think the least cynical answer would be "it gives you something to do while waiting in queue" but yeah, everything about the bloodwebs design is 100% deliberate.
...except the things they overlooked when they overhauled progression, which they're only trying to bandaid fix. But even the forced prestige paired with the prestige tax was to reduce the "grind reduction." Its hard to take them at face value about these kinds of things when they're not exactly cutting back on the deceptive practices.

Just remove levels 1-10. Have level 1 start with the entity active and two perks per web. Wouldn't speed it up but would make it more worth your while.

or just have it repeatedly do the level 50 web, like we used to be able. cut out mandatory prestige costs while we're at it. reverting to small webs at prestige is an outdated part of the old system that they refused to update, but they certainly didn't mind throwing a big tax on it and forcing you to every 50 levels.

Good suggestion probably best in feedback where nobody will read it.
But I agree - the most annoying thing in this game is probably clicking the little blood web buttons...hundreds of times.
It's really not a kind of interactive I care for nor find exciting - maybe on my first go to 50, but nah - it's annoying to the point I don't even spend BP on them unless I absolutely must.

I just do it while waiting in queue. Is it really that bad? There's always some jackass not readying up and making you wait the full minute before the match starts anyway.

Earning BP also takes too long

You should of seen how long it took in 2016-17. It took 4 seconds to fully unlock 1 perk or item from the bloodweb

I remember Entity only consume 1 survivor at a time, with 4 survivors already death on hook, as the last survivor being hooked, you have to wait for Entity to slowly consume 1st survivor, then 2nd, then 3rd, then you. The process would take 40sec because the animation is 10sec long.

Animations were truly cracked. Entity didnt insta kill you ether, and sometimes it took like a whole minute for the match to end after everyone was dead

Since Patch 6.1.0, my favorite part of DBD is when I stumble into the bug that instantly generates the next bloodweb without playing the entity animation and telling me what level I reached.
If any speedrunners can tell me how to recreate this bug with 100% accuracy, please let me know.
The Bloodweb is unnecessarily tedious to use

I have avoided the worst of it by spending what I earn immediately. This breaks up the long spending sessions.
