Getting burnt out .

I'm not even a couple months in and I'm feeling it. There's so many things wrong with this ######### game that I can't fix , work around , or enjoy dealing with in general. Hit reg? Auto assist? Gen placement? Map design ? You name it , it bugs me to no end that I simply have to just deal with it .

I'm not great but I'm getting put against people who are straight up way better than me skill and experience wise(or hackers who even knows anymore) . Do I want to learn and get better ? Sure, however I'm learning so little of things i actually CAN do to help improve my gameplay that it's backing me into a corner . Since I only play killer and zero people will miss me I might take a couple months hiatus until bots come into customs . (No replies needed btw just venting)

It’s good to take hiatuses. Self health is always more important. I’ve done so and it’s helped me enjoy DBD more when I came back. Have a good break!

Welcome to a game were rng trumps the average "skill".

I propose one to several months breaks every now and then if you don't want to hard commit to this game like others.

It's either sink or swim with this game in terms that either you practice until your eyes bleed to have consistent positive experiences or just do it like me and install this game every few months, play a bit and then reinstall again once it gets tedious.

But i am finally done with this game. Played it for real last December and since then 3 evening during the anniversary and even those incentives weren't enough to keep playing anymore.

Yeah you will be heavily disfavoured in some situations purely because of rng. Sometimes the best you can do is get a 1k against players you would 4k in another map and i think accepting that is an incredibly healthy mentality.

Sometimes 2 minute into a match ill just say aight this is looking like a 2k game and just accept that and play accordingly and thats absolutely fine. Some maps and situations heavily favour me, some dont.
