Been getting A LOT of P0 killers lately with 1-2 perks...usually yellow....
Meanwhile, we're all kitted out P3+, etc....

There are so few Survivors and so many Killers that new killer players are likely to get cracked opponents.
Basically, mmr right now barely functions, if at all.

Tin foil hat time. BHVR said a few patches ago that your killers would each have their own MMR so that you could pick up new ones and not get destroyed. I am almost positive that they almost entirely did away with this 1-2 patches ago. What It feels like now is if your account reached soft cap MMR, all of your killers will be at soft cap MMR, no matter if you played them or not. So you are getting people playing a new killer who haven't had a chance to play it or put any points into it yet.
There was a very small time frame where if you picked up a new killer, you would plays against relatively new players. But, if you are use to playing at a decently high MMR. If you pick up a new killer you will play against good players, even if you have no clue what you are doing.

Just FYI Dead by Daylight just this Tuesday became available as the free game for Playstation Plus subscribers so there’s probably a bunch of new players checking things out from that. (My nephew is one of them, he was telling me about how cool he thinks Huntress is. 🙂)

Teach him the ways of the Aura Huntress for she is a true Goddess of Death and Destruction. Or.....wait no....he won't be able to use Demo Puppy....so sad....I weep for him not to know the joy of Demo Puppy
