I’m so tired of surv having many options on bigger maps against killers that don’t have crazy map coverage . See killer coming ? Go to a tile with a pallet looped to a house looped to some more god pallets .
Not knocking surv ya’ll win how you can but damn man I just WANT to give up sometimes cause someone will set up a boon back corner of red forest in a zone with a million pallets and loopable areas
Bring in bots, change mmr, the map sizes , whatever but for new players like me it’s not fun to have no real play around for this . Yes killer is “easier than ever” and I’m grateful but I’m still getting my ass whooped beyond belief at times. I can just “practice and get better” but how do I get better when I see no actual way to outplay a surv who has literal years more experience than me, also I’m on Xbox one .

The people saying killer is "easier than ever" likely aren't talking about people still learning, rather the people who are experienced and know how to play Killer.
Learning and getting the experience to be good with Killer is still as hard as ever, don't let people diminish your feelings by going "lol its so easy now". This is like saying survivor was easy before even though inexperienced survivors get mopped up super easily by even medicore killers.
My honest advice at dealing with problem structures is either: Just ignore them whenever possible, I've won so many games on Dead Dawg and Garden of Joy by just ignoring the main building. Let them have the gen there.
Alternatively, brute force a pallet out of someone then leave, you'll eventually widdle down the resources and create a deadzone. Still sometimes not worth it though.

Thank you for validating how I’m feeling cause no one else seems to really care that I’m new and on a ######### console. My biggest problem is when there actually isn’t just a pallet but they’ll work on a gen , run off WAY before I get to the gen and then loop me around a large building or structure that might/might not have pallets but will forsure have multiple windows and loop spots they know how to exploit .
I don’t get a hit , time is wasted , they go right back to the gen and finish it while I’m trying to find other surv who don’t have as good of a spot .
Multiple matches where i have zero options cause they’re all loop God’s with lithe, or some other type of exhaustion perk. True they run out , and true hag (who I usually use) can trap to outplay them but it never works for me.

Trust me I felt the same way when I was new to Killer, It's very intimidating for a good while because it's 4 v 1. People think Killers like this power fantasy but sometimes it's legit one of the most stressful experiences sometimes. The recent changes have helped with this lately though
I'm sure the problems you're having is stemming from matchmaking and just needing to practice more. You mentioned you play Hag who is really tough for a newcomer. Especially if you're trying to get better at chasing because hag is slower than most other killers which makes chasing very painful
What other killers do you play?

Ay man I getcha, an even as a survivor main I completely agree with making larger maps smaller, it'd be a lot healthier for the game, an if that does happen then there's gonna be much less dead zones which I think is a nice win win !

Dude this is so true. I 4k'd a game on Eyrie by only patrolling the main building gen and the two that spawn in the corners behind it. I played in maybe one third of the map the whole game.
Letting survivors complete the "island gens" (the ones out in the middle of nowhere, near strong structures, and with no other gens nearby) is a good strategy. It effectively shrinks the map in your favor. It can also give them undeserved confidence, which can make them overplay their hand later.

Honestly just hag . I’ve tried nurse(I have eye problems that make me nauseous sometimes when i use her power for some reason) and I’ve tried all the other free killers. Like I said I’m on console and I’ve heard that blight is hard af on controller so I don’t wanna waste my cash .
The other killers ive tried get destroyed worse than i do with hag . I’ve watched many videos about hag from Michi and we just don’t have the same fps, or the same servers . I will use the same style and I have great reaction time but hag takes her goddam time 8/10 times teleporting .
I truly believe if I was on pc & dedicated severs id have the games actually reflect my skill

Yeah but what about surv who don’t loop in the gen area but immediately run to a boon across eyrie anytime they see you/are hurt ? I’m being serious do you just “slug” them or do you hurt them all and then hunt them down & take out the boon ?

I'd recommend just letting them take you to the Boon. It's unlikely they are the one who placed it, and if they are it isn't gonna do them any good if you snuff it. Just snuff the damn thing, now they aren't healing and you can get the down.

Tbh I’ve had countless matches where the person with CoH is tucked away in a corner and waits for me to snuff it just to put it right back up while the others gen rush ,and every time i run shattered hope guess what happens ? Not one boon perk.
