Accepting that this game is irreparable
The last Updates that came where more focused on "fixing" flaws of the game or in general rebalancing it a bit to make it more fair for both sides and I noticed...it didn’t work and it will never work. And it's not the fault of the devs. It's our fault.
Evertime the devs are fixing something that is unbalanced or even a exploit the people search for something new unbalanced that they can (ab)use until that get's changed.
For example the meta perk change. This change was intended to spice the meta up and bring people to play with more different ones except every round the same things. And...it didn’t work. Yeah sure we don't see these perks that often anymore but we already have new perks that everyone uses every round again. Overcome is the new dead hard, Off the record is the new ds, prove thyself was before used often and because of the 10+ seconds on gens now it's in every round.
Survivors got the basekit borrowed time with a speed boost to prevent tunneling and...nothing changed. Killers who want to tunnel will still tunnel without any real consequences because it's the easiest and best stratagie to win.
Now let's talk about the most requested thing people beg for to be changed:
Nerf nurse
I aggree that nurse is too strong and she even get's a nerf next Update with her range addons getting fixed but...nothing will change. Let's say they would even nerf nurse into a A-C tier killer and then? Then people play the next strongest killer. And when that killer get's nerfed the cycle continues forever.
The game had so many "fix" Updates. (Spirit rework, Freddy rework, item addon rework, map rework, infinites rework, perk reworks and so on and on) This community will always find something to cry about and will never be satisfied.

I just got annihilated by a nurse, I agree that she could use a little... editing with her add-ons, but not that much. I do agree that the game is reworking things and I kind of like them. I'm just not satisfied with the MM system, it's way too random. I wish the MM system was a little more put together and consistent but other than that, I can't complain about literally anything else at the moment. I don't even see anything wrong with the perks or the new perks that are going to release with the new chapter. You are right that people will never be 100% satisfied with the game.

This game is balanced for the absolute majority of players.

Which means the game is balanced around bad players. That's not a good thing.
The game isn't irreparable, it's just that the devs don't know how to fix it

I would argue that players' skills evolving is a rather important factor that is often overlooked. Take for example our most recent heavy nerf: Dead Hard
From its release, all the way up to the fix of the "exhausted on the ground" bug, the perk's strength was largely unknown. However, after the bug was fixed, DH became the single-most ran perk by FAR due to its newly discovered strength and versatility. But the problematic aspect of it, the "DH for distance", was already possible, even when it was bugged. And that is on top of the then recent addition of CoH.
That is to say, power creep and skill creep can make for new issues that we didn't foresee years ago.

The devs know how to fix things. They did it in the past often enough. I don't know in what fantasy World you life in where you think programming a game and constantly holding it up to date is a easy thing but it's not.

Kinda agree but devs do make some questionable choices here and there.
Especially when it comes to maps.
Still I would rather devs do the "balancing" than majority of the community with their one sidedness.
I accepted that this game is unbalanced a while ago. Both sides can end up in impossible to win scenarios.

I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying the devs are currently not doing so well in terms of fixing the game

No, it's balanced around 'average' players. Skill is always relative.
This isn't an Esport. Balancing around the tip top MMRs tends to make the game gradually rot from the inside. See: Starcraft 2.

I give myself until September and then I'm finding a new game. I never go back.

Again, the average DbD player is extremely bad at the game

It's still the same problem when you play enough killer you realize not tunneling=lose against good teams, hard to fix honestly

I'm not sure if that works - because 'bad' is as relative as 'skilled'.
When it comes to a game, there's no such thing as being objectively 'bad' or 'skilled'.
These are subjective terms, based on a curve.

No. If there are problems with the game it is the developer's fault.
People are always going to try and find the best builds and strategies. Every game has a META it is basically impossible for it not to happen. People want to win the game. It is up to developers to create a game that has a healthy META.
I agree with you though it would take a massive rework of the game to fix the biggest issues that people hate.

I don't think I'm wrong when I say the average DbD player is bad at the game.
All the stats that the devs have released contained the average kill rate. At best, 2 Killers have been under 50%, while Killers like Pig and Cenobite, 2 relatively weak Killers that are hard to play against for beginners/people that don't understand how they work, have always had a high kill rate.
That's telling of how bad the average player is

You have to scrape off the extremes at either end to make an effective curve - because these throw off your data. Especially when it comes to videogames. Extremely new players in particular are going to skew the graph otherwise.
