Yeah but there's not much you can do about it. And the old prestige system allowed you to do the same thing.

I don't think it's good for the game, it means the game is balanced by grind instead of skill.

Yes good unless the game is killer sided because newer players can't get aleg up while veterans dwindle their supply grinding for more. Good for player base deterioration imo.

The problem is veterans still have huge stockpiles so it makes little to no difference

Wouldn't the healthier alternative be making busted addons not-busted, like was the trend they were going on? Hell, a lot of them are pretty undertuned for their rarity (both color and availability wise).
Addons don't match their rarity uniformly like that, either due to how they work or what they have to give up due to double edged balancing. There's absolutely no direction to any of it.

Game is healthier when busted add ons and items are a rarity rather than a surety.
Would for sure be more fun if we were facing blights that didnt have alch ring every single time or if swfs stopped bringing the best toolboxes with bnp every time.

I mean...busted items and add ons shouldn't be a thing in the first place. Two wrongs don't make a right. Blight's add ons exist, Spirit has MDR/Cherry Blossom, but Freddy has loud gen add-ons. Wut

The point of new prestige is that you cant consistently get iri add-ons. You will prestige and than you will have a period of drought. If its an add-on you use on most games and its iri. It will run out.
