You are probably making scratch marks early game. It’s very easy to spot, even if you are far. Try to play a little more stealthy in the beginning.

Yeah, Deliverance is extremely situational and it honestly doesn't carry that much value outside of swiffers.

I've been achievement hunting since I've got basically all of them at this point and the "Unhook yourself 50 times" is my current achievement in my sights
I swear if I take that off to do a daily, I'm fine but as soon as it's back on, the killer spawns inside my butt and is ready to stab it to hook me first. I could run them for 7 generators, 5 totems, 2 chests, and the gates to open and that killer will stay on me like the T1000 going after John Connor...

Every time I get hooked first and no one comes to save me, I wished I used Deliverance, it's only when I never use it is when I need it lol

Nah I usually don't even run that much I tried to find objectives. They just have personal lethal persuer or something

If they removed the "unhook another survivor" requirement, but made it so your aura was revealed at the start, it might actually be a decent perk.

I believe it was last year when this happened, but for the first time since its release I decided to equip it. I purposefully hid at the start of the match to ensure I wouldn't be the first one found.
Guess who was still found first...
Didn't try the perk again for many months after that.

That might be your issue, getting on a gen. To lessen the chance you're found first hide by a gen but dont touch it until killer comes then leaves or you know hes chasing someone else (someones gets injured, obsession claws moving etc). Use distortion to avoid lethal pursuer, get away from teammates asap if you spawn near them.

Tbh I always try to hook an Adam first if possible on the off chance they have it.

I've had the same problem I'm currently at 29/50 and I was running it and I swear ever killer can smell deliverance even when not playing as Adam they just knew.
Also does deliverance off the hook mean you must be tunneled because I've had a bunch of game were the killer isn't camping or tunneling and then I deliverance off and all of a sudden the killer must kill me. I'm not doing it in there face or with them close they have even been in chase a few times.
