Returning Player: Did Behavior Make Blood Points Harder To Get Now?

I'm just returning after about a year - but I see the Bloodpoint bonus perks are now gone.

I guess we can now get 10k per catagory instead of 8k though, so I guess that's something... however it now seems like I cannot get blood points nearly as quickly as I'm capped at basically whatever I earn in a game without getting a bonus.

To make matters even more confusing (worse?), you now have to go rank 50 with characters you want to unlock teachables for rather than 30/35/40?

This just seems redonk... I gotta be missing something here. What am I missing?

They reduced the grind through several methods but in return nerfed the BP aspects to the best BP berks (WGLF & BBQ).

I believe it was to make sure players were not making BP too fast and make the mentioned perks appealing for their specific effects and not for the BP bonuses.

Since prestiging characters to the max level (100) is optional, I suppose the grind is a lot better but I wish they still kept the bonuses in since I do like prestiging my characters and had all of my survivors P3'd before the whole BP/prestige overhaul.

    You aren't missing anything.

Prestige is mandatory. There's a tax for it that you have to pay. It takes more BP to get to the teachables. You get less BP per match.

Actually, you have to get to P1 to unlock the perks you want (and it costs a nice 20k for the honour of doing so). The plus side is that it unlocks all said perks at tier 1 across all characters. The downside is that if you only play one survivor or killer then yeah, it's more work/bp

How does that improve the grind in your opinion? I'm really not understanding what they're trying to accomplish by making it take mroe BP to get teachables but giving you less BP per match.

They lessened the grind in several areas and increased it in others, thus fixing nothing and keeping the grind exactly the same, just for different reasons. I don't think BHVR realise that nerfing something one way and then buffing it in another just brings you back to square one.
