this doesnt make sense for anyone who doesnt play EVERY single day
Bloodpoint codes expire after 2-3 days. the most i have ever seen a code be good for is a week. what good is that unless someone plays every single day without fail? codes should be good for an entire month at worst, and honestly they should really never expire in order to give new players a chance to not be so helpless. Is there a dev that cares to comment on why codes expire after only a few days?
also, on a side note. daily login rewards are so minimal they make absolutely zero difference in terms of character progression or a means to get extra items/addons/perks. login rewards literally exist to get players who otherwise are actively playing other games or just dont have time to play every day to start up DbD and claim rewards without actually playing a match just so the number of active daily players appears higher than it really is.

You can just open the game, accept rewards and turn in codes, then close the game. It's not hard to do.

Op could be like me. I work during the week and don't have time to turn my PC on just to log in and put codes in. I work overnights so I wake up go to job 1 then get off job 1 head to overnight job come home sleep and repeat.
Bp codes should last at least a week or given out on weekends

You can use cloud gaming to open the game from your phone, i use Geforce Now free subscription when im outside to get my points (for Steam and Epic Games), if you play on xbox you can use Xcloud, i dont know if PSnow has Dead by Daylight...

I think that would melt my phone lmao. My phone is on its last legs.

I imagine it's the same reason F2P games give daily log-in bonuses and whatnot;
They want you to boot up the game. Ideally they want you to boot it up so that you can play it but getting numbers still makes them look good. If the codes lasted longer than a day or so, people might just log in once to put them all in instead of logging in each day to put the codes in. Whether you play or not, you "count" as a log-in and therefore add to their player base for that day in the active players charts and whatnot.
Though like most games, I don't imagine BHVR would actually come out and say that...

Yeah, I'm a bit salty about missing the 200k bp code this week. I think that one was up for 24hrs at most? I also don't know where to find these codes. I checked DBD social media pages and didn't see any code (unless they removed it the moment it expired? It only expired like an hour before i became aware of it on this forum), which I think sucks.

Personally I follow DBD Code Reminder on Twitter
Usually someone on the Forum will also post it at some point (and bonus, you get to see a picture of Holly when that happens!) but some do slip through the cracks since so many of them expire so quickly...

Thank you!
Yeah I did see the 200k one on the forum, but literally like an hour after it expired unfortunately

You may not have a life. You may have Dead by Daylight, and nothing more.

Its not dbd mobile, its an app that stream the game for you from a device, its basicaly like watching a video but you can control it, you only need internet to run it

No no, its literally a video but it register your commands and sends to the device, any phone can run it, you only need internet

me too ... that one was pretty juicy in this BP-starved new meta. I usually get most codes, but this one totally flew over my radar. Miffed.

my point is the devs are like "Heyyyyy!! we're giving all these free bloodpoint codes(in a game that until 3 weeks ago had the most exhausting atrocious progress grind in the entire 75 year history of all of video gaming) cuz we love and appreciate our players, but they only last a day or two so you have to login every single day without missing a beat if you want to redeem them all."
This game is a cult classic and will have a following long after its servers are shut down. its already secured its place as one of the best online PvP games ever, especially since there is no other game like it. I get that the daily login report is important to them but they shouldn't hold players hostage to risk of losing rewards for not playing every day simply in the interest creating a manipulated player report.
Players love the feeling of getting in game currency, items, and progress for free. this games community has been very open about all the things they dont like and want changed and until recently the devs have not been very receptive of our requests. i get that the recent update has made character progression much easier but that has nothing to do with the fact that a generous portion of players miss many rewards due to them only being redeemable for such a shot time and that makes players feel like they are missing out on something. that is just not a feeling the devs should want for their players if it can be so easily avoided with no real loss to Behaviour whatsoever.

There was a code?

At that time there was, though it's long since expired.

You should not touch games where you are supposed to play often if you are a busy person, period.
Try something else, like shooters with low skill floors or indie projects.

At least 3+ days a week. 1.5-3 hrs a day + following the Social Media.
Even if you scratch following Socials, you gotta have plenty of spare time for a busy person.
