I just wasn't able to stalk someone while looking directly at them

Idk if this is a new exploit or if the game is just buggy as usual but I just had a gf game where I leaned out and was looking directly at a leon and the stalk just wouldn't register. To make it worse, he was looking right at me and broke me out of stealth.

Is this just gf being unreliable as usual or is there some trick that sweaty survivors use? We were on the swamp map and he was standing in grass but that shouldn't have broken los for me, I was looking right at him and could see him.

    If he was standing in tall grass, it was probably because of that. A similar kind of thing happens with corn on coldwind.

    Tall grass may act like a wall. You just need to get closer or start the chase directly. You waste less time.

    behavior...grass and corn aren't walls...why did you code it like that.

    like genuinely gf and mike are already so under powered and hard to play, and on top of that stalking seems to follow pokemon rules.
