Call of brine + Overcharge is strong
Last match I just had was a spirit using the COB + OC combo, I spent over 5 minutes going on and off a gen bringing it to around 80% then her bringing it back to about 20%. She would never hit me as I would also know when she was coming due to her add on that lets me hear it outside of the TR, I would just walk away and she couldn't find me after taking the time to kick the gen for the millionth time.
We had only 3 teammates left as she just instantly tunneled the first person she saw out of the game so gens were impossible

It's too powerful in 3 gen situations so to solve this I think last gen needs to be back 80s and I would be fine overcharge getting nerf. I don't think anyone wants to play games which last almost an hour.

I personally think overcharge and call of brine should not stack, they are fine on their own. Just put "Does not stack with other perks and add ons"

You can patrol a 3 gen from the start and never lose. It's pretty nasty on killers like plague. I tried to warn people about the kick meta but they were too busy making fun of people for using dead hard.

If u go into a 3-Gen-Situation, maybe you deserve the loss?

Have you considered going to a different gen? 🤨 COB + OC only works if you let it. Killer can't be at all gens at once. Your team could pressure multiple gens and there's really nothing stopping that except not doing gens.
3 -
It was not even a 3 gen, two of the gens were opposite of the map of each other. One being in the middle

Yeah have to say I did this once in haddonfield when all 3 gens were in main house and that was easy win. I used call of brine + jolt + eruption. Well I could used overcharge as well but went with noed to quarantee the win.

I had a 3 gen on crotus pen in the carnival area, only had Jolt, I was hitting 4 gens with each down. They stood zero chance.

So only when 3 gens are left, they take 80 seconds?
To be fair I kind of would find a system where gens take 10 seconds less for every gen repaired, starting at 110 seconds, interesting. But could end up nerfing killers again, because killers are the strongest at 2 or 1 gen left to be repaired.
Personally, I would prefer the devs to fix the actual problems in the game directly, instead of changing other aspects that indirectly fixes certain problems.
I feel like in general, people dislike how multiple slowdown perks still synergize well. It's rarely a complaint about one particular slowdown perk. So before nerfing any slowdown perks directly, I feel like BHVR should maybe try some changes that make slowdown and regression perks stack less effectively. That or add some cap to certain stacking effects, including action speed buffs and debuffs, as well as caps to how high regression can go. Maybe cap it at 250%, so Overcharge and Call of Brine have at least a bit of synergy, but not as much as they currently have.

LMAO... did absolutely nothing aganist people who can hit great skillchecks... extremely overrated imo

Really? Even when it means you only got like 1 hook or two hooks before 4 gens get repaired? I feel like if the survivor team is efficient, they should still have a chance to win against that.
But even more reason for BHVR to add either some large, diminishing returns on stacking effects like action speed buff/debuff effects or regression, or add a cap to how far such effects can stack with each other. For Regression it could be 200%, for example. Or 250%, if Overcharge and Call of Brine should still stack a bit.

3 of us were on 3 separate gens

Did you happen to be a bubba?

I never missed a single skill check with overcharge lol

In my many games my team has gotten last gen 90-95% done before it has regressed back to 0% so the 90s is bit too long now. I would be fine to make first 2 or 3 gens to 100s to compensate that would buff most killers as many don't want to play an hour game to camp 3 gen area even if there is high chance of winning doing so. But neccesary gens don't have to be so long if survivors would have secondary objectives like finding part for gen.

Personally I find call of brine’s high regression speed AND information to be a bit much. But I think the real issue is how strong cob + overcharge is when stacked and especially if the killer just tunnels someone asap to make it a 3v1.

Doctor.

There's one of the wrecker's map and one of the McMillans that almost always spawn a three-gen from the start. Fun times on those.

So what are you complaining about... COB and Overcharge or the fact that the Spirit Tunneled?
Plus it takes like 3 minutes to fully regress a Gen... so from 80% to 20% would mean about 2 minutes

There’s a multitude of maps now where a 3-gen practically spawns by default. It’s not always the Survivors’ fault anymore.

Azarov's Resting Place can get bent

Call of Brine is fine. People tend to forget that it also only lasts 60 seconds, so it's strong on gens with little progression, but garbage on gens that are almost done.
Base Survivor solo gen is 1min 30s. This can change dramatically up or down based on perks/items/addons/# of survivors.
Base regression time of a 99'd gen is about 5min 45s. With CoB, you only knock a minute off that time.
If anything, I'd like to see caps on how much stacking you can do for any of the repairing, slowdown, regression, healing times.

No offense but if you are struggling with overcharge it's 99% a "get better" issue, lol
I mean, most survivors at a decently high mmr would make the skill check while playing drunk.

Its not overcharge, its the mix of both OC and CoB that I find an issue with. Clearly you did not read the message so your comment is useless

Welcome to 1 month ago.

when combined even with overcharge having its max regression, its still slower regression than a solo survivor repairing
to counter this combo, you touch the gen and hit the skillcheck. then, the regression has stopped completely
instead of allowing a gen to regress over the course of a minute (thats around how much it takes to remove 30% of a gen, maybe a little longer), just touch the gen, so the killer wastes more time kicking, then get back on it, and keep repairing until the killer comes back
survivors win this war of attrition because the killer is doing nothing until a down happens

They are too strong.
CoB + Eruption + OC + Thanato is crazy difficult to overcome, even more in SoloQ. You can't know when someone is going down. Any killer with high mobility can just camp gens, doesn't even need to be 3 gen.

Personally I don't think COB + Overcharge is that bad to deal with. Once you touch a gen all regression stops so if you get back on a gen quick enough it doesn't lose a lot of progress.
What I think is actually problematic right now is Eruption which you often see as a 3rd perk combined with COB and Overcharge. The 25 second incapacitated duration alongside a trigger that is hard to actually avoid means it can be literally impossible to finish the last gen if the killer keeps Erupting them.

Wow internet explorer meme much?
Overcharge already got nerfed because that combinated was seen as too strong by survivors.

There is also Dead Dog Saloon with the Gallows and the far corner gen; if the killer commits to defending this gens, they nearly always got a strong 3-gen.
Or Haddonfield: the gen in the front of the Myers House plus the gen inside and the one in the backyard are a neat little 3-gen, too.

Fortunately it's completely nullified if you tap the gen for a quarter of a second.

Hyperfocus + Stakeout is also really op certain perks just combo really well together

It's strong yeah but what's worse about it is that it's boring.

Call of brine + overcharge really isn't that bad. It's only bad combined with eruption. The combo itself takes over 3 and a half min to fully regress a gen, that is an extremely long time in dbd. Eruption is the only busted gen kick perk at the moment imo.
1 -
Eruption is the problem. And every killer uses it because it gives way too much benefit. It is easily the best killer perk right now.
