The only problem is her add-ons they need to be looked at and treated the same as huntress i.e iri that 1 shots but you can't use some addons with it, that's all she needs her base kit is fine and if they do a add on pass like that then she will be in a good spot i.e only using 1 range addon not 2 as it won't allow it.

The nurse mains can't admit it. They are so used to being rewarded with easy wins because of her broken mechanics.
If they admitted it then they would also have to admit they aren't as good as they think they are.

She is one of the biggest balance issues in the game right now. Of course there should be lots of posts about her.

I think you don't know what toxic means or how to correctly use the word.
She may be bad or unhealthy for solo queue but being toxic is a mentality aka only player and their playstyles can be toxic not the tools by themselves.

what do you mean? Do you mean actually toxic? Do you mean saying slurs and ggez’ing in end game chat or do you mean they didn’t follow the survivor rulebook of absolute fairness which means no perks, strats, or addons you don’t personally like. Did they “camp” a three gen, did they tunnel a survivor? Is that all it takes to be toxic?

No it doesn't fit either way. The players themselves maybe Toxic but the Nurse herself isn't.
It's the same as if I said Flashlights or Medkits are toxic, or pallets are toxic. All of these things are just tools in the game to be used nothing more.

Plenty of space for all kinds of threads about nurse. Nothing else really needs to be said. Devs just need to be informed. It has only been 6 years, after all. I'm sure they'll get to it soon.

The reason for needing to nerf the nurse is the same reason for needing to close the swf gap by buffing "solo". Either nerf both or buff both. Be impartial.

I'm friends with a few nurse mains. They all agree that her blink attacks need to be special and like the idea of Nurse getting a stun and fatigue state after a pallet stun. Addons are up for debate due to what they would be replaced with.
Most of the community seem to be in support of blinks being special attacks but it's up to BHVR to make the change.

It's a mixed bag some want all blinks attacks special but then most basic attack perks will be useless on her. Then others want all blinks after first to be special keeping the first at a basic.
Remember she is the slowest Killer

Nurse has been nerfed in ever conceivable way and you want more. Her add-on pass was a complete nerf with an added mechanic to hinder her yet you want even more? Just get better at the game man.

The counterplay is simple - maintain as much distance as you can, and when she charges a blink in range of you, fake going one way then run the other when she starts the blink. Then the next time, commit to the direction cos she thinks you're gonna double back. Mix it up in subsequent chases, and always put as much distance and obstacles between you and the Nurse as possible.
Yes, range addons are a problem but they're getting patched literally today, then all you'll have to worry about are the really good Nurses.
Having to actually use your brain instead of mindlessly holding W or running in circles is NOT a problem.

I have 6k hours, have been in several tournaments, and am considered a really good player on the Korean server.
Believe if you want to. Don't believe if you don't want to. Either is fine.
I speak from lots of experience. After the player playing nurse puts some time into her, the Nurse's OP mechanics allow her to defeat players better than she is.

She's just as huge problem as SWF with VOIP is.
As long as players are allowed to use voice communications in a game that was meant to be built on the lack of informations in the first place, those two will always be problematic.
Thing is, you can't nerf nurse until you nerf SWF, and nerfing SWF would result in a loss of playerbase, which is like shooting yourself in the foot from the business perspective. You can't do one without other one, and just doing one would've resulted in a loss of money incomes, and therefore even the game's development and life overall.
The way I see it, SWF, especially those with third party programs, do(es) cause the most issues of all the possible stuff that could be causing issues in the first place. Not only they do break the game balancement, but they do also screw up the Solo Queue at the same time by doing so.
Thing is, it's too late to admit mistakes and change it..

First of all, the game wasn’t originally balanced around comms, but it was rebalanced somewhat around it afterwards as an intentional part of the game.
Second of all, you will never ever stop people from queuing up together and using voice. Even if you remove the ability to queue together which would be stupid and kill the game, people could just time queue solo to get together anyways.
Third of all, the way you actually "balance" an unavoidable situation like SWF play is to buff solo to SWF’s level of info and then rebalance the game around all survivors being SWF. The only thing SWF means is being able to share info, not that they’ll actually be good. Then it becomes only balancing around SWF instead of juggling solo and SWF.
I’m sorry you have such a tough time understanding objective reality :(

I do feel like the game is still unbalanced in regards to SWF, even more in regards to SWF with VOIP.
Those queues would be next to impossible or so time consuming that people would simply leave the game entirely or give up on queueing together. When it comes to using voice, the majority of players would've been stopped, as I do strongly doubt that everybody would just grab their phones and talk through them.
That's true, but this requires way too much datas and work, so it's never going to happen. They're never gonna buff Solo Queue to SWF and buff all the killers. Certain players, even those who do play SWF exclusively, are already complaining about how are killers overpowered, despite using VOIP themselves. I don't think that even if the game would've been balanced alike that, the opinion of this minority of Dead by Daylight's playerbase would've changed.
For some unknown reason, Solo Queue is usually getting the short end of the stick, though..

I have 3k hours just on killer. The reason I play survivor more these days? Winning as killer is braindead easy these days.

That's just because MMR doesn't seem to be working as intended, or because you aren't playing at the „peek times“. Another possible reason for that is because you're using specific (currently one of the strongest) killer characters, and relying on META perks.
I do play without gen. regression perks for years, and it's a difference between day and a night whenever I use just one gen. regression perk over the other ones that I just love using and have loved using even when they weren't considered to be META. That does, of course, apply towards add-ons aswell. It's a huge difference to play as Rin without add-ons and then with Mother-Daughter Ring and Dried Cherry Blossom add-on combination.
Details, details, details! As silly as this may sound, they're truly important in this case.

If I wanted to win every game I would play nurse, Blight or Spirit. Thankfully, I actually care about playing a balanced game, so I don't.
As a really good killer unless you are facing a 4-man SWF with comms you aren't going to get a fair matchup right now.

I do mostly agree with you, but I can't agree that the unfair match is caused by full SWF premade with VOIP. I'd be willing to argue that even a 3-man SWF can make enough of a difference to make it somewhat unbalanced aswell.
As for 2x2 SWF premades with VOIP, I would no longer say so, as the informations from them aren't shared between each other, but between just one other person instead of between two or three additional people.

Yes, the scales start tipping between a 2 and 3 person group.
It would be ideal if the devs could buff solo queue, nerf SWF groups with a higher number of members, and nerf Blight ('s numerous great addons) and Nurse.
I don't think they even know how to, so all of these nurse threads seem a bit pointless, regardless of how necessary they are.

Ehh.. Kinda. Some do, but the majority does simply refuse to acknowledge it, as there are still some possible strategies to make it a nightmare for them, because the majority of the playerbase does consist of casual players, regardless of if they play in SWF exclusively or in Solo Queue.
A lot of them do realize and are aware of having the advantage of informations, but because most of them can't execute and use them to their full potential, it is what it is; That only around ~4% of the entire playerbase are the SWF premades whom you shall truly fear.
Most Solo Queue survivors are also aware of it, but because there is a huge lack and sometimes even leak of informations (as nobody runs Kindred, for example), it's not like they can claim that Solo Queue is overpowered or something.
Mhm, that'd fit my opinion; We're in agreement, then.
I'm under assumption that they're afraid of nerfing SWF in general, because it's a loss for them at the end of the day, or a really risky move.. And, why should they risk it, if there's no compensation for doing so, right?
And, another reason is that they don't play the game.. They're kinda blind and only check the minimal amount of gameplays and judge the game based on the provided footages, even though the reality is still quite a lot different.

BHVR has made it pretty clear with loads of statements that they view that Nurse, a free, immediately available killer, being completely broken somehow absolves the otherwise pay to win nature of the game, since whatever power you could get by getting paid perks like STBFL on Demogorgon, you could get even more power by just playing Nurse, even without perks. They're not going to change her, it's company policy for her to be overpowered at this point.

Then you should be providing evidence that she isn't as well. But you can't. So where do we go now? When the new stats come out I guarantee you Nurse will be somewhere towards the top, which is in stark contrast with her stats from before 6.1.0.

I wasn't the one making the claim that she isn't. I was requesting for them to provide footage to show me how easy it is because I'm bad at killer and would like to easily win matches like they claim they can with Nurse.
In fact, I didn't make a claim for whether she is easy or difficult, so I have no reason to provide evidence.

Kind of sounds like swf groups that love to bully with stacking second chance perks playing a game setup to give them an advantage from the start 🤷🏻♂️
