PTB Wesker > Released Wesker
I can imagine I'm alone on this subject, since on paper he only got buffs. And yet, I think PTB Wesker was a lot more fun than the current Wesker. I would honestly give up every single buff to get his PTB version back. His hitbox was generous, but I felt he needed that for his power to work properly. Now it feels like it has the same hitbox as the Deathslinger's shots.
I guees an argument for the change could be that his M2 now relies on more skill. Since I was looking forward to a killer for the first time in years, the disappointment is unfortunately high.
To all the people who can still have a lot of fun with him: Congratulations.

His PTB hitboxes were too generous. The buffs make up for it imo

Wesker is too punishing charging power and releasing it I don't see the reason to use it it is fkn garbage. This seriously fkn pissed me off!

I would hate to agree, but at the same time, you clearly have a point. Do these people just never play m1 killers? Wesker is cracked.

No he is noticably weaker and even Otz is having a very hard time not seeming frustrated playing him. A lot of it is bugs, though. I don't think they intend for me to literally phase through the survivor during a bound. Or just drop them mid grab because the game decided to. To be honest, the only killers that don't get nerfed from PTB to live are the ones so universally panned that people would not buy the DLC if they did nerf them. You basically need to be PTB Trickster to not get made worse.

Get ready for this interaction I had. Dude was running towards the god pallet on the stairs on RPD, I grabbed him with the second hit, he threw the pallet, got off my grasp, 0 dmg taken, I'm stunned IRL and in game.

Funny you should say something like that. Considering, the all 4 matches I have had with him every survivor ran at least 3 second chances.

I mean, fair. But it can also be about the fun to play the character. Some killers can be unfun even if good, too. I'd assume things like just flying through survivors or losing a kill because the game said so, are really unfun. I watched one match and a survivor flat out did escape because the game just decided to drop the grab for no reason at all. The only silver lining was that he was going to give them the hatch anyway.

See those are bugs, have nothing to do with his balance. The only time ive had issues was when ive been pallet dropped mid bound

The changes were fine! The REAL skilled Wesker mains won't even notice the changes, it's the bad ones that will have to move to Demogorgon or something. He's much more fun to play against now

he's extremely bugged, can't propper window vault or pallet vault, doesn't grab survivors whe nyou pass then 1 inch.
What a hot mess this is but then again, it's BHVR!!!!!!!
