The more I play as / vs Wesker the more I think he is weaker than was to be expected

I am not saying he is weak killer, but I think he is not A tier as many of us predicted. The more I play him the more I feel like he is B tier at best. His chase power is kinda hard to hit and sometimes even punishing rather than just running to them and M1 them.

He is kinda fun to play as but since his hitbox is pretty small (less then Demo for sure) + it's very punishing sometimes to dash 10m+ away from that Survivors and giving them huge time instead of just M1 them. It promotes not using your power and kinda boring hold W thing. He is kinda loopable in some loops.

Idk. Needs more time to make some final result on him but this is how I feel now.

Yeaaa my first game wasn’t very flattering. Got 1 kill and it was a dc lol.

Just played a survivor game against him and he would fly past me then come back and hit me. Must have been lagging. Anddd I got tunneled out so that’s fun.

I've been saying this since the PTB

The idea of making it smaller was correct, but it sounds like they went overboard with it. I want to try to remain hopeful they just took a shot in the dark and will actually adjust it as needed.

Don't wanna call out how strong he is or isn't but he defenitivily is a lot harder.

    Zoomed past many survivors

And the Wesker i faced also missed quite a few times. And if he misses even if he right on you you are usually fine

Half the reason it was reduced was because he kept snagging on uneven geometry and just stopping midlunge. It was wider than his actual collision box which was an issue for both sides. Again, if they just cranked it to 11 the opposite way and made it tiny, thats just as bad, but im trying to be optimistic its an oversight with bad number values like Blight's camera being in his beltbuckle used to be. They got it right eventually.

Problem: Wesker's dash ends up colliding with the environment too often, making it unreliable.

Solution: Halve Wesker's hit box. Both for the environment AND for survivor collision.

Did that make his dash suddenly incredibly easy for survivors to evade? Oh well! They've got your money already so enjoy the C+ killer.

Idk what universe you're all playing on, but my Weskers have stomped every single match

Based off of my one match with him (thanks queue times), he does seem to be pretty nerfed from the PTB.

His Dash feels a lot smaller than Demo's Shred hitbox, which is already pretty tight, and that really hurts him.

I did think that they should've reduced the hitbox size because it made it impossible to juke him up close and too difficult to play around loops, but it seems like they went too far and made it into a needle.

Personally I'm of the opinion that right now he is suffering immensely. He has one of the longest (if not the longest) windup in the entire game on top of moving incredibly slow while charging. His power is extremely buggy still and his hitboxes just aren't as consistent as they should be.

He 100% has the potential to be incredibly fun and strong but the main thing that's hurting him right now is those hitboxes and his bugs. Hopefully they address that along with other parts of his kit.

C-tier at best he needs buffs, like most other killers in the game.

"We reduced his hit-box, making his power far harder to hit with."

"You reduced the charge-up time and cool down timer to compensate, right?"

    "..."

    "Right?"

Classic case of the Deathslinger 'fix.' Nerf the most important part of his kit, then don't change anything else to compensate for how much worse you made him.

We all assumed that the hitbox changes would mean he got stuck on things less. Like how Blight was on the PTB.

haha nobody ever listens. i agree with you. he has too slow of charge-up, too high cooldown on his ability and very slow dash.

I wonder what was logic behind wesker only moving at 300% m/s and demo shred moving at 500%. demo is way better wesker.

Why make a killer power better to use in poorly built maps, when you can do that AND make the power weaker at the absolute last second so that everybody who enjoyed him in the PTR will still buy it no matter how weak you suddenly made him?

I thought he was Overrated on the ptb, but he feels worse than I thought.

I played a match of Sloppy Coulrophobia on the game and got a really funny 4k so that was neat I guess
