I've been trying my 3 standard builds which so far are working out ok, but anyone found any interesting builds? Addons can be included as well.

Build 1:

  • STBFL
  • Scourge: Floods of Rage
  • Scourge: Pain Resonance
  • Lethal Pursuer

Build 2 (seems like the bug with deadlock not overwriting Thrilling isn't fixed so i stopped using for now):

  • Thrilling Tremors
  • Dead Lock
  • Corrupt Intervention
  • Flex (whatever i feel like)

Build 3:

  • Brutal Strength
  • Eruption
  • Call of Brine
  • Thrilling Tremors

Only played 2 matches before work, but I plan on playing more of the Sloppy Coulrophobia Distressing combo just for my own amusement.

Nurses feels better because it's more accurate, but using discount Nurses via Unnerving Presence is even funnier.

i'm just using an aura build atm so I can learn his power

I've been trying out a few builds but the one I started to get some successful matches with was:

    -A Nurse's Calling

    -Awakened Awareness

    -Hex: Plaything

    -Brutal Strength

But maybe my increased success is as I get used to Wesker's power. We'll see!

I've been playing with perks that use the TR, because his is bigger than anyone else's.

Right now, I'm running Coulrophobia, Starstruck, Save The Best For Last, and Devour Hope. Could probably swap Devour for Infectious Fright, it's mostly there so I can enjoy his mori, but I've definitely noticed survivors having issues healing.

    Mad Grit/Agitation/Awakened Awareness/Surveillance

Could use Iron Grasp to complete the theme but eh. Either way. Slash slash slash slash.

Fire up, Bamboozle, superior anatomy and No way out you vault fast as ######### once all gens are done you vault faster than a survivor can fast vault

    Septic Touch/Overwhelming Presence/Clown Phobia/Infectious Fright.

With a 40 meter TR, it's pretty easy to just not worry if your perks are working or not while I figure out how to use his power.

The first game I ever ran the new Coulrophobia+Unnerving combo, I was actually getting sort of annoyed because derpy me forgot what I was running and was getting tilted by survivors making constant loud noise notifications.

Was worth it in the end for that last generator though haha

Plaything, discordance, thrilling, I'm all ears

Nothing special or creative, but that's what I've been using.

I didn't get a chance to tonight unfortunately, I did get him to level 50 though, just barely shy of Prestiging.

As far as builds go, there's a few of my favorites I want to try on him

    --

    Backpack

    • Agitation (faster carries)
    • Awakened Awareness (see auras while carrying)
    • Mad Grit (free attacks while carrying)
    • either Starstruck, Forced Penance or Iron Grasp (depending on my mood which one I like better)

Especially where Wesker automatically goes into carries straight out of a Bound this seems like it could be a fun killer to use this build. πŸ™‚

    --

    Bad Medicine

    • Coulrophobia (longer heals and faster heal skill dials in terror radius)
    • Unnerving Presence (smaller skill checks in terror radius)
    • Distressing (25% larger terror radius)
    • either Septic Touch or Sloppy Butcher or Huntress Lullaby (depending on my mood)

I've been messing around with Bad Medicine builds on a bunch of killers recently and it's a lot of fun, just tonight I got a 4k with Demogorgon using it. πŸ™‚ And with Wesker's base terror radius being a whopping 40m combined with his decent map mobility from Bound this type of build seems like a natural fit.

    --

    Anti-Popular Perk Build

    • Discordance (see gens with two survivors, to counter Prove Thyself)
    • Hex: Third Seal (Blindness, to counter Windows of Opportunity and other aura perks)
    • Fearmonger (Exhaustion and Blindness while repairing gens, to counter various popular Exhaustion perks and also Windows a bit)
    • either Terminus, Hex: Undying or Jolt depending on my mood (Terminus would be to counter Adrenaline in the endgame, Undying is to protect Third Seal, Jolt is to give a bit of extra slowdown)

Basically this build uses perks that specifically counter the top six or seven most popular survivor perks at the moment. (It's a little surprising but Windows of Opportunity is currently the most used survivor perk in the aggregate stats.) Even though the loadout sounds a bit goofy and is light on direct slowdown I've been having good results with it.

There's a bunch of other fun builds to try with him but those are the ones on my mind at the moment. πŸ˜„

I noticed that! I'm just recently returned to the game again so I haven't read up on all of Wesker's stuff yet, but there were a couple of matches where his terror radius seemed to be everywhere! It certainly added a lot more tension to the game.

I've been using the terror radius build, with his add on you can swap out sloppy for something else.

My standert build so far has been

Awakened Awareness, Superior Anatomy and Terminus

And it probably will be for a while unless i get a lucky match cause Wesker gets no chaser emblem whatsoever

Save The Best For Last, Bamboozle/Crowd Control, Dissolution and Blood Favour have some specific synergy with him.

STBFL is obvious, you can conserve stacks using your ability to hit the Obsession, and whenever you M1 anyone, STBFL can allow you to follow that up with a bound and catch them immediately. Bamboozle is also obvious: you vault after someone using your ability and now if there's nothing else in the immediate vicinity they get hit, because they can't make it back around and use the window. Same for Crowd Control.

Dissolution is less obvious, but it has some neat uses for Wesker (and perhaps some more I haven't figured out yet). If you vault over a pallet with a bound, it's not rare that the survivor can make it back around to that same pallet; if you have Dissolution up however, vaulting over pallets becomes a more potent tool to catch up since they can't return to that pallet. And if survivors run away from the pallet to avoid Dissolution, you can catch up to them with bounds. It also makes up for cases where getting to a pallet can save them from your incoming bound. You can just hold your bound in these scenarios because they are screwed if they vaullt and screwed if they don't - if they vault you bound after them and get the guaranteed hit since the pallet dissolves, and if they don't vault you can cancel your ability and M1 them, since they still can't vault.

Blood Favour is pretty cool because sometimes you can tackle or throw people into corners of maps or just away from tiles in general, so now they will have an even harder time getting to any usable pallet, especially given that Wesker can follow up with bounds. Throwing people against stuff even in general can cut down the distance they make quite siginificantly, Blood Favour is not seldomly a more or less guaranteed down then.

STBFL also makes all of these perks even more potent, giving survivors even less distance such that they are even less likely to be able to get around Bamboozle/Crowd Control, Dissolution and Favour, so if you want to have an oppressive chase potential, use all 4.

I haven't played him much and still experimenting a bit. So far my build been Lethal Pursuer, BBQ, Brutal Strength, Scourge Hook Pop (W/E is called) Start a chase ASAP and once you hook someone can very quickly start another. BS since small loops and pallets really hurt him.

Lot of other potential fun or good builds here I'll be trying out.
