The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Hyperfocus - We should not lose all tokens at once
There are many high tier killer perks that make a generator explode (Scourge Hook: Resonance, Jolt, Eruption) or perks that block the generator (Dead Lock, Dead Man's Switch) that are used by killers in the current meta.
Hitting Great Skill checks without Stake Out and This Is Not Happening is already hard enough as it is especially with the punishment of missing one and losing all your tokens.
My idea is to lose a token every 5 seconds if you are not working on a generator or healing someone and lose 3 if a generator explodes / gets blocked while you are working on it or you (and/or the injured survivor) screams while healing.
Basically you will still lose most if not all of your tokens running from one gen to another. Unless there is a injured survivor on your path you might be able to keep some, which is really situational.
Maybe I'm wrong because I expected too much from this perk, but let's keep the discussion civil. :)

I don't think you realise how OP this perk is with right tools (addons with toolbox and Stake Out).

I don't see a problem with losing all the stacks when you let go. You aren't really hyperfocusing if you leave the gen for another one.

Which of the addons are you talking about. Because I might just try that.

This perk is extremely overpowered and will likely get a nerf. In the right hands it can turn a 90 second gen into a 40 second one.

I forgot to mention, purposefully letting the gen go makes you lose all stacks.

That doesn't really change anything.
If you stop the task you are working on for whatever reason, losing all the stacks is fair. The perk is meant to speed up the action you are currently doing and not carry over to the next action you start.

There is no such thing as hyperfocusing a gen, that is just a myth.

Nah. This perk is overpowered on high levels and I'd say it needs a huge nerf or a rework with how efficient it can be at rushing gens even just by itself.

It's a perk that allows you to do a gen solo in 45 seconds combined with one other perk and a toolbox. It's in need of nerfs if anything.

It’s an extremely strong perk as tokens build up. Yes, you should.

As always, you will see the vocal minority of killer mains here (it's always the same people, the same 3 or 4 names in every thread saying exactly the same things) yelling that every survivor perk that is -usable- is OP. Hyperfocus isn't OP. It's not even going to be meta.
They said the same thing about Power Struggle, Any means necessary... they just think unless it's trash tier and nobody uses it, it's OP.
It will get nerfed though, because Behaviour listens to these people.

You should spend less time victimizing yourself.

big NOPE. git gud at skill-checks.

I could say this perk is a huge opportunity to motivate people to learn how to be efficient at great skill checks. I haven't seen it in action or tried it myself but it sure seems like a huge motivator to "get good" at great skill checks quickly.

I really like the design of Hyperfocus. The graphic is great and it takes some degree of skill to get value out of the perk since it's all-or-nothing. Been running it with PT... I don't think the perk needs anything atm it's perfect how it is.
