It´s completely killing the atmosphere of the game if everything is about RE now. One was already too many for me.

You're talking about Resident Evil as if it's something really silly like Fortnite or Among Us. I get that it has some moments like that, but then what do you think of Silent Hill? These games are very dark and very horror overall, and fit the theme that DBD has.

Probably it's a licensing thing. They might have some good deals with Capcom, and it's great for everyone. Sure I would also like to see so many of my favorite killers or chapters introduced in DbD, but let's admit it. RE is kind of a big deal in the horror franchize, and they also seem to be open to talks with BHVR about licensed stuff.
Among the biggest surprises for me was the Silent Hill chapter. And I was so happy to see it. I didn't expect they will be able to pull that. Otherwise I'm sure we will see many new additions as long as it is possible. Sometimes there is quite a bit of negotiation to add any new licensed material and it's not a simple task.

We never got Nancy Thompson or Sidney Prescott as survivors and yet you're disappointed over the chick from Hellraiser? The Hellraiser movies were never really that good to begin with. The first 3 or 4 films are just ok and the rest aren't even worth watching.

It perhaps feels that way now, because of how often an RE character is in each trial currently, which is to be expected considering it's fresh out. The same can be said when Attack on Titan released all those cosmetics and suddenly I was living in an anime.
When it has had some time it will feel more varied. Just need to let the chapter do it's thing.

With all the RPD and Wesker spam, I feel the same. Yeah, one is cool, super cool, 2 is a bit overkill, but if they ever got to 3? Absolutely not. By that point they should just rename the game to Resident Evil IX: Dead by Daylight.
