Wesker's collision boxes before/after PtB
Found this on the DbD reddit. Sorry if it counts as datamined content but it'd be helpful for the community to know the numbers.

They really took inspiration from Bowser's Melee grab for this one.

Interesting. I still feel like the biggest problems are still caused by his hit box just being a bit buggy, and not by the hit box reduction he received. The reduced hit box size doesn't really explain why Wesker can occasionally just pretty much phase right through survivors.
But I guess they could increase the hit box slightly, so it's a bit more accessible and less punishing. Looking at those images, maybe even 30 cm would still work, that would probably make his hitbox almost as big as that of Demogorgon. Anything above that would be too much though, because his hit box in the ptb was definitely way too big. The only reason it didn't feel as ridiculous was because his collision box was also way too big, but that is much smaller now too.
Personally, I think they should see how 25 cm would be. I think that would be the perfect size. But 30 could also work.

Wow okay so maybe make the surivor collision like 30cm and keep the environment the same I mean after all they are arms makes a Lil sense to reach for the surivor

Larger collision might help, but he still has massive issues. Basically no power at a safe pallet. A really bad Blight.

I think I would take 25 cm for survivor collisions.
or
30 cm for survivor collisions and 25 cm for environmental collision.

Seems legit.
Grabbing hitbox seems a bit narrow but like, it's his torso's width. It seems logical.
I think his known bugs should be adressed before thinking on increasing the hitbox. Some atrocious clips where we can see him actually going through a survivor are likely more of a glitch (impact just didn't connect) / aim dressing (looks closer than it really was) issue.

Even if this is true this is too small to go for skilled shots ( ranged ones all they have to do is side step and he misses 85% of the time
