People hate playing againts Nurse and they just give up
Just had RPD map where as soon as it was Nurse and first person got downed (she had very good addons btw), they just suicide on hook. I run to them to stop them and rescue them and they just run up to that Nurse again and get downed and then we all get downed since it looks like everyone gave up and run up to her at that point including me and die. Nice 5 min game.
Listen, I hate Nurse as well but I wish people stop trowing games againts her. Makes Nurse games even more hated since I know someone will try to die on the hook anyway.

Just go the distance. Get some bloodpoints for your time, do a totem or chest, literally anything other than give up.
At least make her work for it, damnit.

Implement ban system, win for everyone. It's up to BHVR

Yeah, this shows how immature can the community be sometimes. Always when nurse and blight are involved.

While the sentiment is appreciated, if someone is suiciding out, they're done. Pulling them off the hook is just a slight delay, and usually causes you to get hit/downed/hooked in the process. People reach a point where the map/killer is so annoying, problematic, and repetitive that they're not even going to bother. Stay on your gen or whatever you were doing, grab some BPs before the wipe, queue up for the next trial.
I know when I'm suiciding out I hope the second skillcheck on hook phase two hits before some nut reaches me. Seems to take forever most of the time.

If someone wants to give up on the hook just leave them alone.
Do you really think you can force them to play a game they don't wanna play?
7 -
reassurance can hold them on hook an extra 30 seconds and they cant do anything about it. waste their time as much as possible at least so they dont try it in future games
2 -
Again: You can not force people to play a game they don't wanna play.
Even if someone like you trolls a discouraged player they will still give up whenever they feel like the match is a waste of time.
5 -
I adore playing as and against Nurse. I really don't get all the Nurse hate.
3 -
Those teammates chose to play DBD, so I’m not gonna let them ruin the match for everyone. It’s completely selfish.
6 -
I can't force them to stay, but I can make ragequitting as much of a long and grueling process as possible.
6 -
or hear me out. delete nurse. I'm in my games to play DBD,not nurse.
8 -
Don’t queue up if you aren’t willing to play against a part of the game. Ragequitting is pathetic.
7 -
Cause it’s not unwinnable? And you queued up knowing that you might face something that is a part of the game? And you ragequitting ruins the experience for all 4 other players? Don’t queue up if you’re going to ruin games for other people the second it’s not the way you like. Play a single player game then.
2 -
I’m going to blow your mind. People can play strong things because it is fun for them.

They are playing a part of this game for whatever reason they feel like, which is valid. You and the other players are playing a part of this game for whatever reason you feel like, which is valid. So don’t queue up if you’re going to ruin the game for the other 4 players just because it’s not the way you want. Play a single player game if you’re going to do that.
2 -
So then don’t queue up if you’re going to ragequit over a part of the game. Play a single player game and stop ruining it for the others. Or play killer.
4 -
Waster their time and annoy them enough and hopefully they’d just stop playing Dbd and stop ruining matches for other players.

I'd much rather play against blight than nurse, his power doesn't straight up invalidate how the game is played and it's much more interesting to mind game
the only survivor-killer interaction that survivors have (Outside of being hit/hooked) is looping. Nurse completely removes that aspect of the game and it becomes a game of holding shitf+W, trying to break line of sight, and trying to bait your movement. Which isn't impossible, but heavily relies on the Nurses skill level, and if she's skilled, you're gonna have a hard time with it.
EDIT: Plus her lunge is just.. off. I don't question getting hit by other killers, but Nurse will look like she misses me by inches during her lunge but I'll still get hit, which is quite annoying.

Plus her lunge just looks off visually, I don't question getting hit by other killers, but Nurse will lunge and look like she hits air but I'll still take damage, which is annoying.

Doesn't work since many people merely play DBD because of addiction rather than fun. All you do is take even more of their motivation. As a result they will throw games even more quickly than they usually would.
3 -
I will probably do what the player OP described did when solo q. There's no point playing, I don't want to play a match that is already lost.
That's just the way things are, unfortunately.
2 -
People like knowing they have a chance at winning the game when they enter it, even if its a small one. Your only chance when you hear her seagull screech at the start of the game is to pray that she's played less than 4 hours on her.
Nurse can be funny sometimes in SWF where you can all use beamers to stop her teleporting after your friend, but I absolutely can't fault a solo queue player for just getting out of a game now instead of in 2 minutes when it ends anyway.

I dont blame Solos for D/cing or hook suiciding anymore unless it’s due to something ridiculous like being the first one caught. Unfortunately, solos need SOME incentive to carry on in a match. The hope of escape used to be it. Now the hope of escape has dropped significantly and against Starstruck Double range Nurse when MMR has matched you with at least 2 potatoes, I can understand the match feels pointless. Because it kind of is. It’s just handing the Nurse her 11th easy 4K of the day. Idk; maybe BHVR should look at the stats and do something about that and their Jank Arse MMR system.
2 -
Well if they have had my luck I dont blame them...
A new chapter has just come out and I still see 10x more nurses than the newest chapter. Its boring af.
3 -
for me as a solo q survivor I try to play against any nurse I come across but the moment she picks up a survivor and I'm hit with starstruck I lose all motivation and hope as 9/10 times I end up watch all my teammates get slugged within less than one minuet of the match starting.
I am glad they finally addressed her range addons but the fact they had to nerf awakened awareness from the ptb specifically because starstruck/lethal pursuer nurse exists makes all the forum posts about nurse being bad for the future of the games health sound more reasonable.

This is what you call "SKILL ISSUE" and both of you sound upset about Nurse because you can't play against her the BNB way! Nurse is beatable, the skill issue here is that, y'all don't wanna change your playstyle to try and beat her.

I guess you just didn't read the rest of what I said 😅
