I really hope the next survivor is a woman

And that she doesn’t fit the typical dbd girl survivor mold. I want a badass grandma! Or a girl with a bit of a belly. Or a bookworm. Etc.

The guy survivors are pretty diverse meanwhile the girls are pretty, athletic, slender, and young.

I had a dream last night about the new survivor. The survivor's name was Coco and she was similar to Nea except she had a cat sweater as her default outfit and purple leggings.

We currently have 9 male survivors and 6 female survivors, or 6 and 5 (respectively) if you don't include licensed characters. If they want an even balance, the next survivor should be female.

Incidentally, we also have 8 male killers and 5 female killers (5 and 4 unlicensed), not including Legion, so the same logic applies.

Of course, BHVR is under no obligation to preserve such a balance. I just thought that was interesting.

  • Well, Claudette is a bookworm I thought.

And while I wouldn't call her overweight, I also wouldn't call Kate slender necessarily.

Nea has the face of a swamp monster, and is extremely punk and tomboy. Definitely not pretty.

Otherwise, yeah, I guess your point does stand with the other three. (Although I personally think Meg looks like an escaped test monkey, other people seem to think that she's great for whatever reason.)

It would be very interesting to see an old, nonathletic, fat, ugly faced Survivor of either gender though tbh. Some Survivors incorporate at least one of these, but damn having the OMEGA ugly Survivor would be the best meme character.

I would buy every single cosmetic for her.

    Let it happen.

I want a really fat Survivor. At least 180kg/400 lbs.

I know it's a game and the survivors can already do things that stretch plausibility, but I'm not sure I could handle seeing 400 lbs of jiggle physics zoom off with sprint burst, drop two stories, and then vault over a window like everyone else.

Now after you described it, I want to see it even more.

To be 100% fair of course they're athletic, slender, and young they have to run from a killer 24/7 but the grandma idea is pretty nice and im down for another female survivor. Oh and side note HOW IS FENG ATHLETIC SHE JUST SAT AROUND AND PLAYED GAMES?!

She was probably one of those tiddy streamers on Twitch that whenever they won they did some push-ups. You know the kinds I'm talking about.

This is hardly unique to Feng. Dwight was rejected by his high school athletic teams, Claudette is a shut-in (though apparently given to "strolls", so there's that), and Jeff's a chunky monkey. Ace and Tapp (assuming he's the same age as Donald Glover was during the first Saw) are in their fifties - I won't count Bill because he could keep up with the young'ins in his own canon. And yet, they're all a few teachable perks away from being equal to Meg, David, and Quentin, canonical athletes.

Admittedly, Feng has a unique exhaustion perk, but since the word "lithe" doesn't imply speed so much as agility, her speed boost might just an abstraction of the quick reflexes she would, reasonably, have.

Wait, Quentin was an athlete? I had no idea. I thought he was like a nerd or a bookworm or something.

Swimmer. Might not be relevant to the discussion at hand, admittedly, since I don't know if swimmers make for good runners.
