Im about done .
I'm new and only have a couple hundred hours experience and on console. I'm CONSTANTLY going against surv who even as solos have 8-10k hours and literally don't even need comms to destroy me.
I've tried looking back at my gameplay and see what I can do better and there's things i just can't work around. I try YouTube videos, having others critique the gameplay, etc to no avail.
I'm good but no where near the people I'm going against and I hope it changes or bots come cause this is literally giving me headaches(I have a job, and am constantly touching grass so don't even go there)

If you feel like your gameplay is optimal then the only thing you can do is use better killers and perks.

Can't afford the killers rn, and any of the killers that are the best are hardest on console with controller (so I've heard) I pretty much main Hag.

Don't sweat it man, matchmaking is just like that from time to time
You just need to keep practicing so you can garner more experience, I know sometimes it feels like you're slamming your head against a brick wall fruitlessly but eventually you'll get there.
A good way to look at it is - try to turn every match into a learning experience of some kind. Think about what the survivors did and remember it for next time and so on.
i've been in your position many times over playtime so I feel your pain. All I could really do was take breaks, keep at it and eventually I got to the point where I felt like there was always something I could do in a match.

Being a survivor main for awhile before switching to killer definitely made me better at killer. It’s much harder to mindgame a killer who knows survivor in and out.
But I saw you play hag.. she’s already a hard killer to play, and especially weak at the moment. I would recommend switching killers. I would pick up blight, and watch lilithOmen on YT. He does tutorials for blight on controller as well. Best of luck to ya.

As far as bots go they're coming to custom matches soon. Could be as soon as the next midchapter even since they've already completed almost everything else on the 2022 roadmap.

Starting off as Killer on console is BALLZ. Seriously. It isn't optimised in the slightest, and PC players have a distinct advantage.
You also might be matched sometimes with SWF's (4 man with communication) and it's just demoralizing. I've been playing the game since 2019. Killer is really hard to learn and it hasn't gotten any better. BHVR needs to create a practice simulator.

Definitely switch up your killers. Hag is absolutely terrible to play at higher mmr. Anyone with more than a couple hundred hours will easily know how to counter everything she has. I dont remember which killers came with the base game, but id highly recommend wraith. Ppl give him a lotta hate, but hes actually better than ppl give him credit for once you learn how to mind game with the bell. He can also be played very aggressively n that seems to make ppl panic. Might be your best option for base kit killers in high mmr. Try all the killers you have and find one you like that does better. Any of them are better than Hag.
(It makes me sad cuz i mained Hag many years ago when i started, but she totally sucks in the current build)

Hag was my first main before I committed to licensed killers, before I was sure I was going to spend money on the game. I kind of miss her. I loved placing traps by the hook... And people said it was bad, but man oh man did I wreck some kids with those hook traps. I remember the first game I went for a 4k slug and just drew on their corpses. I even made up lore where Hag was rejected at art school because all she did was draw triangles and she took up karate to vent her frustrations in a healthy manner. It explains her pallet break animation, at least. Rofl.

Definitely miss the Hag days. One of the most fun killers to play when shes not gettin completely stomped. The body block add on is still one of the funniest things theyve ever put in this game.
