Do you think Legendy / Ultra Rare skins are worth it 15$?
I wonder what is everyone's opinion about this. Do you find the price worth it or allright or too much? And do you / did you buy any skins for 15$ allready?

It's worth whatever BHVR can reasonably sell it for and get optimal profit.
10 -
God no
14 -
Eh not really but also when it's Sheva Alomar or Claire Redfield my wallet will make exceptions
8 -
I don't think any cosmetic costing 75% of the base game price is worth it, no.
Most cosmetics in the shop are overpriced by quite a margin.
Then again, it's their business model I guess. No one has to buy them !

Me when they just released Carlos…
(would have bought Sheva but I also like Jill herself so…)
2 -
I couldn't live in a cold, cruel and Carlos-less world any longer so I had to do it.
10 -
Pretty much this. I do wish the legendary skins got prestige versions as well though.
3 -
If we got prestige legendaries for reaching P6 with the related character, and the character portraits swapped with the legendary ones, they'd actually be a lot more worth it
4 -
No, for the reason that it is a individual character but only with the "legendary" tag.
It comes only with special voice.
They will be worth the money if they have new cosmetics.

Well Servers cost money and the game was around for many years. Plus every company works for profits, it's not a charity. Take those skins as means to pay the subscription cost for an online game, on a voluntary basis.
As for buying them... sure I buy it If I really like something. I'm picky anyway, so it has to be something I really like
1 -
No, they're grossly overpriced. A better price would be $5-$8
So far I own; Lisa, Cybil, James, and Hunk. I only bought these because I am a huge fan of their respective series and I could justify buying them at the time. I would have bought Chris and Claire by now, but they are just too expensive for what BHVR is offering.
3 -
It's a joke to even pretend there's a world in which the price could be justified. In particular when many went so long without unique voices (Lisa and Cybil, and now Hunk) or with obvious modelling issues like Claire, so you can't even call them high-effort.
3 -
No but I get the price there are games where you have to pay 10$ just ti use a character and then outfits are like 5$ but In this game you can earn most characters free with lots of playing. So they need to make their money somehow.
0 -
it is absolutely not worth that price, behaviour overcharge skins on I will die on that hill, 15 bucks for twice the price of a normal character that comes with perks, but people will buy and bhvr get money so they don't care.
2 -
I have claire cybil lisa and johnathan. They need to do more with them to make the price more worth it
2 -
when the DLCs cost less than a skin 💅
3 -
To me any linked cosmetic is worth far less than a non-linked. I'm only interested in mixing and matching. Generally I try to make sure my outfit comes from 3 different sets.
I refuse to buy the linked cosmetics, unique character or not. I might consider the unique characters if they cost far less.
2 -
and their own cosmetics in the store as well. Would love to get some outfit for my claire

Didn't use to cuz they didn't have own voicelines, names or pfp's.
But now they have it, so probably yes.

in my opinion, legendaries should be the same price as purples or cheaper. they come with less content but charge for more than other costumes? while we're at it, ultra-rares should also be the same price as purples.

No, only camping killers are going to see it.
1 -
Nope, for me to be worth it, while keeping the power the same, should make the character a total different one with their own voice, sound effects, chase music, etc.
Aftee all, they are more expensive than a chapter.
1 -
Personally no, but it depends on the character.
I bought Lisa and Cybil because they're characters that I actually like.
I have Jonathon too but that was during the Stranger Things Final Sale so I didn't want to lose the chance of never having him and he was on sale so might as well.
I don't think any of the killer legendaries/UR are worth it. You can't even see them unless you run a Mori and even then, it's not worth it for me.

Get this, legendries are almost the cost of 3 characters, 1485 is the cost for the skins which is about 15 dollars' worth of auric cells pretty much, and just for a character with no new perks, but just voice lines and pretty much does the same as any other character, they aren't worth it. Don't let them fool you.
1 -
Sheva and Cybil , kinda regret Jonathan but I only bought em because he was leaving
0 -
Hell no.
They ask me to pay £9.99 for a killer, and two fully fledged survivors. That's fine.
Then they ask me to pay £14.99 (basically) for a survivor with no perks or backstory and they are not customisable? Nahh. Legendaries originally didn't even have different voices or portraits either.
3 -
No, they're definitely not worth the price. But I still keep buying them anyway because I'm an impulsive shopper ;-;.
1 -
Back when they were first released, no. But now with everything that comes included with them I think $15 is more than reasonable. I would pay at minimum $12 for any of the legendary skins. They are worth at least that much.
0 -
When they have unique animations and voices, sure. When they don't? Absolutely not.
I bought HUNK and uhh.... I'm not very happy.
1 -
But he has unique animations and bit different voice effect.
0 -
I just wish legendary skins would also get bloody clothes if you own their base survivor at that prestige level.
Its kinda whack its not a thing yet
1 -
The art team is great, but no, $15 is too much, I rarely buy skins and I generally like to wait for sales if I do.
1 -
I think it's worth. Behaviour needs to make money at the end and cosmetics are totally optional.
I own Spirit's legendary cosmetic because I love the katana hit sound lol
0 -
i think they really should just lower the price at this point
1 -
No, 15$ skin for a 5$ character isn't worth it the only exception if it's a character that i know and really liked being Sheva from RE5 and Hunk. Which i really enjoyed them from their original games.
1 -
He's really just Frank in a Hunk cosplay with the metal convention face w/e called skin audio that gives him the some what metallic voice and doesn't even have a frenzy animation.
Still a great skin, but it's also so disappointing.

it's way to overpriced, you can get a DLC or expansion in another game with $15 but for a cosmetic?? not worth it in this game.
its up to the player really though (I payed $30 on FF7 First Soilder for a Cloud Skin) totally worth to me so it's all up to the player and what they"re willing to pay.
0 -
If they don't have voice lines and such, no. Its premium for a reason. A shiny new skin will not make me buy it. I buy all DLC because of the achievements, whether I like the killer/survivor. I LOVE Sheva and Lisa Garland so I bought both of them. I bought Chris but his face looks messed up.
0 -
A skin is never worth that much.
0 -
It's still frank's voice though. His animation also looks really goofy.
0 -
No.
0 -
Of course not. That isn't even a question.
2 -
If they arent gonna do anything with them then yes
0 -
Most cosmetics in online games are overpriced but we're passed the point of changing anything about it.
0 -
They arent worth $15 but I only paid $5 for the game and have put 1500 hours into it so I bought some to support the devs
0 -
BHVR's business model strikes again
0 -
15 quid would be enough for me to get the new killer, the 2 new survivors and 9 new perks, I dont care since they are cosmetics but they just don't seem to be worth the money unless I really liked the character or skin and it was on a character I play a lot.
0 -
And you know what? It's Sheva's first video game appearance since RE5 and I hate that game so I don't mind
0 -
Wait you hate re5?
0 -
Without mods, yes. Can't fix the camera angle or FOV so motion sickness happens and I can't play for more than 25 minutes, story is dogwater, and it isn't survival horror. Give me RE2make, RE7, or RE8 any day over RE5.
