Do you also think that wesker's power takes a long time to charge?
I know his hitbox is a big problem but the fact that it can take a long time to charge , survivors have more reaction.
I find it pathetic that wesker's power can be countered by the weakest loops and it is also very difficult to hit survivors vaulting a window.
Maybe i'm really bad playing him, but i think we'll have to wait for his hitbox to be fixed, i lost a lot of hits with it but my biggest problem is the long time to charge.

His power activation is only 0.5 seconds longer than Demo's charge time, but for some reason it feels like eternity. It is impressive how small numbers can have a big impact.
They could of course give him the same charge time as Demo, but whether that makes sense is another question. It's not like he's supposed to just become a Demo on steroids. But I guess that would happen if they reduced his charge time.

Take off .5 seconds off of it and reduce his CD time to 8 seconds.

i would reduce his charge up from 2 seconds to 1.5 and most of his cooldowns by 1 second

Yeah, his charge up seems super slow and most of the time survivors can get away before you can even charge up your power. It needs to be shortened a little bit.

Yes but his tentacle addon that let's him move faster while charging is criminally under rated

Demo has map traversal with his portals, and some stealth after teleporting, and still is very balanced, wesker could use the buff to charge time and still be fine.

He feels extremely clunky. His grab is ridiculously hard to hit and he takes an age to charge and uncharge his power. Vaulting the pallets also just feels terrible. Every time I get a hit in when I vault a pallet after them it's literally by the skin of my teeth.
His add-ons are also terrible.

His charge feels super slow, it's a drag.

Actually this is only partially true. His full charge time is 1 second. Demo only needs to charge 65% before lunging. Wesker has to wait the entire 1.5 seconds. Personally I think everything he does is too slow. 1.5 seconds to charge, 2.7 speed while charging, an entire 3 seconds of recovery every dash. He spends more time being slower than survivors than most killers in the game

I know it's being increased but his small hitbox has so many compounding effects. He cant vault things from most angles, can't hit survivors mid vault, often struggles hitting survivors who hug straight walls because it has to be pixel perfect. Even damaging survivors after he vaults something and they stay too close often wont work because it relies on his hitbox

Well, that would explain the big difference between the charge times then. Kind of embarrassing not knowing that as someone who plays Demo a lot. Thanks for the clarification.

It is 100% needed. The fact that he has 2 dashes makes this a necessity. They will increase his hit box, and after that, people will notice quickly that he won't need any more buffs. A lot of people already agree that his hit box is the only thing of him that needs to be improved, aside from bug fixes of course.
The long charge time is one of the aspects that makes his power fair for survivors as well. We need more anti-loop killers that give survivors a fair amount of counterplay, not less. Especially at a time where killer queue times are already longer than survivor queue times.
Decreasing his charge time would be terrible, and I am fairly positive that won't happen anyway, seeing as how 99% of people are only complaining about his charge time and that's it.

I like that it takes longer to wind up and cancel than Demo shred. It forces people to commit to using it, instead of just free zoning/anti loop with no downside, like most killers get.
It should have a faster cooldown though.

I disagree that Wesker's charge time necessarily needs to be significantly longer than Demo's simply because his Bound is better. Demogorgon has much better Killer Instinct than Wesker so it's ok for Demo to be a bit weaker in a chase. Demo finds and gets into chases more easily, Wesker is better once the chases start.

Definitely disagree, and I am also pretty positive that won't happen, considering most people only have a problem with his hit box.
The 1,5 second charge time is 100% needed. Having two dashes is very powerful, the longer charge time makes it balanced. It's one of the main elements that gives survivors an actual, fair amount of counterplay for survivors. And we need more anti-loop killers like that, and not more like Artist.

A Majority of the players disagree with your opinion.

No I disagree. Not to mention I already think he is a bit stronger than Demo in chases.
He has 2 dashes instead of one, and he can vault pallets and windows. He has a lot of potential. The 1,5 second charge time is needed to give survivors a fair amount of counterplay, and that is exactly what anti-loop killers should have. A fair amount of counterplay.
Decrease it 1 second, or more, and you'll see much more people complaining about him not being that fun to go against, I am pretty positive. That'sd not what the game needs in general, and especially at the moment with killer queue times already being longer. Wesker needs to be both fun to play as and against, and that should stay that way.
Also, demo might have more map pressure, and I guess a bit of tracking, but Wesker has still a bit of map mobility, and some game delay as well. The sprays by the way also giving Wesker killer instinct.

Yes. For example, Leather Gloves add-on would be a good choice for faster charge time, since he already has built-in recharge time reduction.
Leather Gloves
Decreases charge time of Virulent Bound by -20%.

I think my favorite part of his power so far, is that you can’t use it if you’re directly on a survivor, it just won’t activate

I'd like to point out he has a 1.5 second recovery time after vaulting anything. Also demo has a 2 second recovery time after breaking a pallet. I'd also like to point out Weskers dashes are slower and don't cover as much distance as Demo's, at least individually, also Demo's speed while charging is a whopping 3.8 m/s compared to Weskers 2.7 m/s. In short Wesker doesnt have much going for him over Demo's dashes. Also his slowdown is pretty negligable. It only takes 5 seconds to use a spray and each one has 2 charges not to mention theres 6 cases so you won't usually have to travel far.
