Sweats, Campers and Hackers: A game that slowly dies

I know that the game has a few years on it's back and if you play something for too long you lose the interest in it and slowly it get's harder to find something fun to do. But I never had the problem with dbd because of the constant New content and changes. But right now? Right now it get's harder to enjoy the game more and more. The game slowly get's taken away from two main groups and leave nothing left then a misarable time. These two groups are:

Sweats and Hackers

Funny enough this Situation is a bit similar to a game that has nothing to do with the Genre and that is Fortnite. A game that started really fun with a unique concept. You didn't needed to be the best person that wins every round to have fun. It was just fun to mess around and test new stuff alone and with friends. But then it turned more and more stale and got took over by 5 year olds who fill buckets with sweat every round.

Dbd was really fun. So many perk combos to test out and killers to have fun with. People trying funny meme builds and just having fun together. But this is in the past. Finding something similar like that is really really rare. Even tho we got a massive Update that shifted the meta a bit every round is the same. You ether have a group of survivors who mastered the game and make sure that the killer suffers while the round is going or you are on the other side and have killers who do nothing then tunneling and Camping one survivor at a time out of the game because it's the easiest way to win. I can't even try new stuff out really because when I bring something that is not in the top Tier the round is over before I even had a real chance to test it.

Oh and when you don't experience that, then you experience a basement goblin with the mindset of a 5 year old who tries gta cheat Codes for the first time but in a online multiplayer game. Ether holding you hostage, ending the round in 2 seconds or just making sure that you suffer.

I don't even know why I'm writing this Text really. It will not change a thing. This game has lost his good times and there is nothing that can bring it back really.

I think people underestimate how worrisome the multiple role being understaffed really is. For every 4, you need 1. For every 1, you need 4. Guess which side needs to be more enticing and populated? We have recently hit the hill where it has flipped. Getting close to the top was a good thing, flipping to the other side is dangerous.

DBD does however have the coat tails of licenses to keep them floating and the long life time of the game as well. But how far it'll keep it going will be interesting to see if we don't get some large changes for the health of the game.

People complain about balance, but the ######### we dealt with back in 2016-2017 playing this game was worse. All of us as players thought once that behavior bought themselves the rights of the parent company we would be playing a game for the longcon. And as devs, they have done a great job at releasing content but they have never done large enough ballsy changes to fix the game. Only bandaid fixes sadly. I think they are trying, and I am in to see it out, give it time.

    I miss 2016-2017 dbd

Mmm my favorite. A doomsday post. 10/10 would read again. Especially the part about sweaty 5 year olds.

Killers are in the best state they have ever been. If you are still getting demolished by survivor teams a lot, then you are simply being outskilled. And I am not saying that killer is easy, because it isn't, unless sometimes when you hard camp and tunnel, but killers aren't underpowered anymore, in general at least. And even at top level they are much more viable now.

Survivors do need help against camping and tunneling. They did get some nerf to tunneling, which was great, but it's clearly not enough yet. Camping at the very least also needs to be looked in. Maybe then queue times will go back to normal again.

But the game has been dying for like 5 years now according to some special brainiacs, so I am really not too worried to be honest.

Well isn't that the story with every online pvp game over the course of their life's?

In the end they all end with either new players or tryharding veterans and a little bit unhappy people in the middle.

I've seen it in lol, rocket league and r6s too. Either i get noobs, trolls or ever complaining "pros" when i dont perform up to their "standards". Btw wow too in mythics. 3 weeks after release of an addon and you sometimes get kicked from random parties when you don't know the most efficient play through for every dungeon.

DBD is only additionally plagued by nonexistent matchmaking at this point again. In my opinion one of the biggest reason for the discomfort of the players.

Congratulations you completely missed the point. I know I'm not the best killer and I don't mind losing when I had a fun game. I do mind to win and lose a game that is boring or annoying that brought me nothing.
