The black bubble when a survivor gets hooked ruins the perk Kindred
You can't see the killer's aura at all, make the bubble transparent or something

I greatly hate that as well
On the "plus" side, I've determined I can kind of work around it. If the killer goes to the side, you'll see them right away but if you never see the killers aura, you can usually safely assume they're headed in your direction since unless they walk directly away from you, they'll always be in that bubble if they are walking towards you and therefore you won't ever see their aura. If they're going to facecamp or whatever, you'll see that once the aura goes away.
It's not the perfect fix but it at least helps a bit.

The moment you do take it out, you'll greatly buff the Blindness effect.
I do gotta agree that the bubble is unnecessary and a bad design by giving survivors' idea of where the survivor got hooked, despite suffering from Blindness status effect, for example. It should've been removed years ago, but nobody has really complained about it, I guess.

Kindred used to counter that bubble but for some reason that bubble now counters Kindred.
But that is a good observation and way how to work around it.

Yeah, the bubble was 10 seconds which was horrendous and instead of removing it they made it 5 seconds some years ago.

Ehh.. Better than nothing, but there's still a room for improvement.

Yeah, cuz 10 seconds made it so the Killer could head your direction and while being halfway there you could not see them because of Bubble Buddy.

If removed, it could actually be a good buff to hex: third seal

I also hate that black bubble as a killer main. It’s pretty intrusive.
2 -
Happens the same when you repair a generator.

Actually I run Third Seal all the time now since Windows of Opportunity is most popular survivor perk at the moment on the aggregate listing I follow.

Similar situation as Bitter Murmur and Floods of Rage. Bubble goes off and blocks your field of view. It's worse on Kindred though as 1) the above situation where the killer is bee-lining to your position is completely blocked until the bubble disappears, and 2) survivors usually shoot to the sides so they move out from behind the bubble fairly quickly.

Before and after (Sorry for the small blurry images, but I think you get the point. Bubble will still be there but now you can actually see through it)

Lets buff hex: Third seal so

I'm pretty sure it messing with both vision and sound is intended. If it's stopping you from seeing something, thats good on their end.
I'm not sayings its a great thing to play with, just clarifying.

The bubble should bed there but the game should prioritize the Killer aura if it shown.

Tbh I like it, having immediate vision of the killer can be extremely strong but the bubble gives them a bit of time to act unseen. If I'm not wrong, btw, it happens also with Bitter Murmur. Obstructing vision is the whole point of those bubbles.

I agree. The bubble should be removed or at least made transparent.

Kindred used to counter that bubble. Idk why they changed it.

kindred is supposed to be “strong” for solo q.

It never used to be like this with Kindred. I swear it was only a few months ago that it changed and I'm not sure why

I run Kindred almost every match, and can confirm -- up until very recently, you could see the killer's aura the whole time. Now for some reason the bubble blocks it, and it's terrible.

This is why I stopped using Kindred. It's way too annoying.

Both hook bubbles and gen bubbles should go

Its a bit outdated though to have them still in the game

Yeah, it seems to have been a silent change a few months back. It's very annoying and I wish they'd revert it - there's no reason for the hook bubble to block aura perks.

they responded my ticket about that issue with 'that's actually intented as a way of suspending the situation' so i guess thats not a bug anymore its on purpose and idk why
