In average, as Wesker, how many times you hit survivors with Virulent Bound per match?
I know this is early, but I just want to know what the average other players did.
For me, I can only hit 1 or 2 time per match. 3 If I'm lucky or survivors is brain dead that walk in straight-line.
Most of the time, I use his power to traverse the map or vault pallets. And of course hit the wall mostly.

Like twice honestly. The buff is needed

I have gone full matches without using my M1, I decided to stop using STBFL because it was a wasted perk slot most of the time. I know I am in the minority, but I really don't think that the hitbox is that bad, it's all about making reads on the survivors. I wouldn't mind if it was bigger of course. The bugs ARE a pain in the ass though, I hope they are dealt with tomorrow.

I often use my knife to down the survivors and get hooks at the beginning of the match, and once I've hooked everyone once then I usually start goofing off using only Virulent Bound. It really depends on the map and whether the survivors stay in areas where there's no room to maneuver. I can do okay or I can do horribly. If the survivors are halfway decent at moving to the left or right when I bound, then even in the open I might get very few hits with it. I'm also on console, where making small adjustments and aiming in this game is hellish. Not to mention those frustrating moments when I seem to go through a survivor.
tldr: I use my knife when I play seriously. I use the Bound to have non-lethal fun. How well non-lethal fun goes can vary greatly due to maps and survivor skill.

Depends a lot on the survivors tbh
If i'm patient and they give me oppertunities i can honestly hit it quite a few times.
Whenever i get the dailly challenge of hitting them 4 times i always do it in one match and usually well above 4.
You do need to be very patient though. Redgaminggears on youtube shows pretty well how to.
That said the change is still needed i think. Against survivors who don't give you oppertunities it's very hard to hit them and extremely punishing if you miss

Around 3 average.

Use more time to master him, I've faced really good Weskers already. There might be a little too many spraybottles in the trial IMO. People also called Blight bad when he was released, but people got used to him over time. (Though Blight came with a POV-problem.)

The problem with reducing the number of sprays is that if the number becomes too low eventually every Survivor could become stuck with a permanent speed reduction from the Hindered status effect due to being unable to cleanse the infection with sprays.
It's probably intentional that it's basically impossible to run out of sprays for that reason.

Yes I can see that problem, but I haven't had one game where I was even close being out of sprays. Even the games the Wesker 4K's while exit gates are powered. A small reduction could be healthy in favor of the Killer and his power. Right now it feels too easy to counter. It's still early to say though because people are still learning his power.

Maybe 4? It's very inconsistent and clunky feeling right now.

Idk but im sure there are enought first aid spray for 2 wesker games.

Around 2-4 times. Usually survivors just dodge it.

I've gotten pretty consistent 4-6 times a game if the surivor is in a bad spot at any loop I rarely hit them
Dosent help that 3 of them should of been injures and I miss 2 or 3 grabs by like 10cm ish

4 is probably the average. Some matches i hit like 2 though

I get quite a few actually, but I'm used to powers of that similarity and my ping is surprisingly low. I'd say between 6 and 10, there's quite a few situations in which the grabs are free, you just have to be fearless and commit to your chokeslams.

As others have said, it completely depends on the skill level of the survivors. It takes too much precision to line up grabs and since the time punishment for missing is so bad, I end up getting grabs that I could probably just used his m1 anyway. His power is terrible in its current state.

3?
The good thing is that survivors play differently around loops because they are aware of your power, which often leads to opportunities for stabbing them.

I had many matches where I think I landed more than 6+ but also few matches where maybe like 2-4. It depends in the map and Survivors.
