i should be able to skip the death animation after im hooked the 3rd time
it takes a lot of time seeing yourself dead and pulled up by the entity, this must be entirely optional, so you can get back in the game without getting demoralized too much (yes, of course im talking from my own experience)

You're dead. Alt tab and look at youtube for a few seconds if the death animation bothers you that badly. You're upset that you died, and want to leave. It's very easy to avoid watching the death animation. Just... don't look.

I really don't know how to explain this any further without being mean. There's an easy alternative. Just tab out until the post game menus come up.

Your not the only one. I just don't agree with any of you, also BP and time out is worth it go ahead.
look at it mechanically when you dc on final hook if there is another survivor, the hatch instantly opens instead of giving killer the extra time to search as Intended.
Mori is a reward for killer seeing you die is a reward.

The death animation lasts like what 15 seconds just check your phone browse Twitter or the forums whatever u want.
"It takes alot of time" you definitely never played Hell let Loose before.
Seeing your character dies add this effect of not being how can I say that maybe permanently invincible it adds a little horror to this game where horror is already very limited it's more like a action game.
especially the licensed characters seeing Laurie Strode get consumed by the entity feels weird sometimes as she in the Halloween franchise she was always that strong character that will always prevail against Evil no matter the cost,but in DBD evil can win (bad ending Sadge).

Yes you wont always be able to escape as a survivor which by now you should understand surely right ?
Just like getting 4ks it isn't always possible and that's how it is sometimes you lose just bcs of bad map RNG.
stop asking for useless features my man there is already no horror in DBD let's this tiny 15 seconds death animation stay,or just keep ALT F4ing lmaooo.

Well, why do I not see you make the same post about killer being subjected to survivor taunting them to hell and back during egc sitting in the exit and your dread from getting humiliated and asking to freely DC as killer in those circumstances?

one one side, I can take humiliation on Killers perspective while doing moonwalks
on survivors side, I am forced to watch the same (3rd hook) impaling & abducting animation over and over

And? If the intentional behaviour of real players doesn't face you, then i don't know what to say when you feel something watching an automatic animation.
Especially since i would expect for people to simply grow numb towards it.
It's not even gory or grotesque or anything.
And sorry but if 10-15 seconds per 5-15 minutes are such a bother to you then i would say you have other problems.

Regardless of the context I dislike unskippable cosmetic animations/cutscenes. The death animation for the one who died is one of them. Same for the additional running out of gates or the delay between a killer killing all four and the match actually ending. -Do these 3-10 seconds harm anyone? No. Do they contribute anything? No. Are there more important things to be fixed? Yes. - Would I still like it if I could just immediately press a button and skip to the results-page? Yes.
