Incentives need a huge increase

Simple as that, they have been at 100% constantly in my area for survivor and killer queue has not improved at all, and sometimes is even worse. They need to increase the maximum probably 50% increments until we get something that actually works at its purpose of equalizing queue times in ALL regions; I expect 200% probably still would not be enough.

    IM a solo q survivor and im having lots of fun. Do I die a lot...yes; however, I do run a lot of meme build perks and try to have a fun time overall. I work one a gen with red herrring, run across the map and hop in a locker to trigger a sound. Its all about making your own fun.

    No amount of bloodpoints is going to make me play solo q, when I already don't always have fun playing while being with friends. 200% bonus for 5K after having been tunneled out is still only 15k, and I can easily make double that while having fun in a killer game.

    We're entering a period where a lot of players will be more occupied again (all the college students being back at their studies, for instance), so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those that remain would prefer playing killer over solo q.

    And I wouldn't be surprised if the queue times remain skewed towards instant for survivors and some wait for killer.

    I am playing to win, so i stopped play solo lately. And dying most of games is not fun anyway, i won't bother myself to play if they don't give some love to solo survivors.

    I play a lot of solo queue and I would say the gates get powered in at least 2/3 of the matches I play in, and I am escaping ~30-40% of the time.

    Solo needs help for sure, but I think this "it's unplayable" thing is moving into a groupthink, self-fulfilling prophecy sort of realm. As both a surv and killer, I see a lot of survs just rolling over in games that actually aren't going that badly. At least when they're not DCing or offing themselves on hook.

    Tbh, I feel like sleepwalking or dc'ing teammates are more to blame for my drop in escape rate than the actual game changes. Beyond that, the games don't feel much worse than before, and I am still very much having fun.

    Well, it sure sounded like you were trying to speak for all survs.

    Believe it or not, a lot of people are still having fun in solo and not wallowing in misery. Kind of like how people still had fun playing killer for the like ~9 months prior to the 6.1.0 patch where playing killer was really rough.

    Yes, i am talking about majority of solo-q. Killer queues are talks enough about that. I've had insta queues before 6.1.0 and now it is around 3 - 4 minutes. Looks like people are not playing survivor anymore.


    But i am glad you are enjoying because i don't.

    Incentives are good enough - the problem is with score events that are ridiculously bad at the moment.

    I don't play survivors because it's unrewarding. 1250 points for sitting for 90 seconds? gruesome.

    Score events for survivors are pathetic.

    I think for a lot of players it's this situation, "I want to play to win", or "I don't need bloodpoints after 2k hours".

    The expected bloodpoints for killer is still better, and the expected gameplay is better.

    Diehard survivor mains are just getting a permanent BP bonus.

    Like many have said, the survivor experience just is not fun. Nobody wants to lose 9/10 games and deal with all the tunneling and busted gen regression and slow gen speeds. Also add on the useless survivor perks like Iron Will and Self Care are both extra bonus Killer buffs.

    I agree the scoring events need to be changed. Mind you, i am a solo q survivor.


    I went played a scratched mirror myers match for a tome challenge. I played my hit and run style on him just for fun. Sneak up behind a survivor, give them a good jump scare and go on to the next survivor. No hooks all match, just hit and run. I ended the game with 23K BP.

    Survivors need a scoring event rework so that ones that are tunneled and camped dont get screwed over on BP

    That's assuming people play a game for Blood Points and not a good time.

    Truth is many players could care less about blood points, they just want quality matches so no amount of bp incentives is going to entice them.

    Blood points are not that much an incentive when everything is so cheap you can always afford to play with the best addons and offering. With blood points you are going to buy duplicates you are never going to use anymore.
