DC from the host?

I've played 3 killer games today and in the first and the last game I got disconnected from the host for no reason. My internet / ping is fine and after the DC from the host I get a DC penalty. The last game I was hooking a survivor and I froze while hooking them. I could still press escape and the menu worked just fine, it was just the match that froze. Is this just DBD working terrible (as usual) or could it be that it where cheaters? If this keeps happening the penalty will get longer and it's not even my fault!🤬

    I had a similar issue. I was playing the spirit today. after killing/hooking 3 survivors very quickly, the game crashed when I was chasing the last one. this happened 2 times, almost the exact same circumstances. I know I did not have internet issues because other devices I had up did not experience a loss. Even though it said that I DCed, there was no penalty and my addons were not eaten.
