The outside of the exit gates get blocked when a killer is close to it should be killer-sided

This visual has caused me to die once and almost die another time because the killer got close to it before I did so it looks like it is being blocked, although it's only for the killer. And it happened in the Endgame Collapse as well so there is no way that we could differentiate between it and Blood Warden. It is easily mistaken and survivors like me would rather ran out and get to the other exit gate than to try and run through a blocked wall of course.
